My all time favorite episode is the one where Mr. Belvedere drives off in a Porshe in search for Wesley when he meets an accident. He gets hospitalized and falls into a coma. He then gets to see what the Owens would be like without him. The episode with the best bit of acting from Brice Beckham, and Christopher Hewett as well.

I mean, why didn't Kevin go for Madeline? Winnie was a small breasted bitch, and Madeline was some prime ***** willing to give it up.

My favorite episode was the one called Denial
where kevin and winnie broke up but kevin wouldn't accept the fact that it was over and
said some horrible things to her at Paul's party while "You Are Everything" played in the background. It was so sweet when he cried on his father's shoulders.
Also, I really liked the one where Kevin was delivering Chinese food. It was hilarious, especially when he was lip syncing to "Bobby's Girl" abd his encounters with the pizza boy.

One of my favorite episodes of The Wonder Years is the one where it is Jack's birthday
and the whole family, including Karen and her
live-in boyfriend, Michael (David Schwimmer)
all go out to dinner. Jack's behavior in this episode is classic. So is the line that Wayne delivers when he is shaking Michael's hand: "So, you're the guy who sleeps with my sister!" Thank goodness Nick-at-Nite has a little decency to air this fabulous program weekdays at 5:30 in the morning if at no other time. I was heartbroken when the show got axed from ABC's primetime line-up!

Ketamine you make no sense. First you started talking about the wrong show, Mr. Belvedere - what was that all about? And then you said the most crude thing about adolescent Kevin and Winnie and Madeline!!! You're one sick pervert man.

I have 3 favorites. Where Kevin goes to work with his dad. When he meets that girl at the beach. And the one where they get a new car.

Mine has got to be the episode where the maths teacher Mr Collins dies, I had a tear in my eye. I found it really nice when Mr Collins scraped his last one so he could redo it. He had the strengh then to get his target of an A. I'll write up that episode just incase you don't know it!!!

What a tough question! For quite a while, my favorite episode was the one I believe entitled "Courage," about Kevin's dental
hygienist Miss Hassenfuss. I don't know -- there's something about the wording of the narrative in that one that has always
gotten to me. And, the scene on the couch where Kevin's father talks about dodging bullets in combat in Korea (or wherever),
but the only thing that ever *really* scared the pants off him was -- the dentist. Too funny!
I also love the final Mr. Collins episode -- the one in which he dies . . .
the one in which Kevin's father takes him to work with him . . .
the one in which Kevin finds out that wacky and unfeeling Coach Cutlip is secretly working as a department store Santa . . .
the one in which "Harper's Woods" was leveled for the purpose of building a new shopping center . . .
the one in which Kevin takes Paul's sister to her cotillion . . .
the one in which Winnie moves away . . .
the one in which Kevin & Wayne fight over Karen's vacant bedroom . . .
the one in which Paul tries out for (and makes) the school basketball team . . . and the one in which Winnie acts in, and
Kevin works the spotlight for, the school play ("Our Town").

I love all of the above and, of course many others.

yeah that dentist one was good,i remember kevin having a crush on miss hassenfuss, the assistant, but also having fear of getting dental work done,so he asks the dentist outside his office if he could have a different assistant there, then she comes up behind them while they are talking, and kevin gives that slow embarrassed turn to her,and he runs off on his bike feeling about 3 inches tall;classic tearjerker scene that wonder years did so well

TC,
Miss Hasenfuss meant so much to Kevin that, although he was so terrified of the dentist, his biggest fear *really* was looking scared in front of her. He had deluded himself into believing that she truly admired him for his courage. (I can sort of identify with that 'cause, when I was almost six years old, I fractured my leg in front of the little girls who lived next-door to me and who thought I was too tough to cry. As much as it hurt, I refused to cry in front of them.)

When Kevin asked Dr. Tucker to use an assistant other than Miss Hasenfuss and, then he turned around to find her standing there, he felt that he had hurt her feelings. (It must have appeared to her, ironically, that he didn't want her to assist with his filling because he disliked her, or something -- the exact opposite was true.) It seemed to me such a touching gesture for him ultimately to ask her to assist. It turned out to be a farewell gesture.

And, I found it so sad that Miss Hasenfuss had meant so much to Kevin, and he never saw her again . . . and that the filling, naturally, could not have meant as much to her as it did to him. http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/frown.gif And, he never ever forgot her.

My favorite episodes are the following:

#23 "How I'm Spending My Summer Vacation" - I enjoyed the cookout plot

#43 "Goodbye" - excellent portrayal of how Kevin's attitude toward Mr. Collins changed following his death

#47 "Growing Up." - it explores how the characters deal with change, mostly in dramatic fashion

#57 "Heartbreak" - Winnie's break-up with Kevin was a major tearjerker

#58 "Denial" - conclusion to #57

#75 "Triangle" - Wayne's girlfriend actually likes Kevin more--it was cool seeing Kevin and Wayne so close to each other at the end!

#83 "Private Butthead" - cool scene with Wayne crying in Jack's arms towards the end

One of the best episodes is when "The Rolling Stones" were suppose to appear at "Joe's Place". Also I really like the episode when Kevin goes for the drivers test to get his License.

My favorite episode is Brightwing. It shows the true extent of Karen's and Kevin's brother and sister relationship. I also like the one Kevin and Paul's families go to the lake and they meet Cara, and the one where Kevin and his family go to the beach and he likes this older girl. The girl then only writes him one letter. It was so sad at the end.

Mr. Glenn: "By the way, why aren't you in your PJs? It's after midnight."
Janey: "Um, I was dreaming that I was gonna be late for school, so I woke up and I got dressed, and then I looked at the clock."
Mr. Glenn: "Yeah, but you wear a uniform to school, and that's not a uniform."
Janey: "In my dream I went to public school."

I loved the one where Winnie and Kevin were barely talking and then Winnie got in an accident and broke her leg. Kevin climbed up to her window and told her he loved her; makes me cry every time.

my favorite episode was during the last season where kevin's class goes on a field trip to the observatory to see the eclipse. the cast of characters were hilarious, esp. chuck getting left behind and the guy playing with fire and bombs!

My favorite is the first one.Kevin and Paul are trying to get a sex book in the worst way...one steals it from the bookstore while the other leaves the money on the counter. Wayne walks in on them reading it and causes a ruckus...Mom comes in...see's it and says "I'm very ashamed of you Kevin"Kevin lowers his head"...What were you doing in my night table drawer?"(or something like that!!!)
Also really good was the one where Kevin and Paul start hangin out with "the bad kid"who drinks and smokes...they go camping in the woods with him and its a friggin catastrophe.(They play Riders On The Storm by The Doors throghout this one)

I have three all-time favorites:

- (Episode 37) "St. Valentine's Day Massacre"- I love the part when the Wicked Witch's theme from the Wizard of Oz plays while Becky attempts to run over Kevin with her bike. That girl was PSYCHO! I also love the part at the end when Marvin Gaye and Tammi Tarell's "You're All I Need to Get By" plays as Kevin and Winnie walk home hand-in-hand.

-(Episode 85) "Double Date"- This episode is great because it's filled with lots of Kevin and Winnie angst:p I love the tension between Kevin, Inga, Winnie, and Matt in the car on the way to the Spring Formal, and the intensity of the slow dance while "You Are Everything" plays.

-(Episode 93) "Broken Hearts and Hamburgers"- Just a great Kevin and Winnie eppy with great flashbacks, great tension, and a great kiss at the end.:p

What is your all-time favorite episode of The Wonder Years and why?
My Favorate all time episode is when Kevin joined a rock band. The Electric Shoes I love this one because it encluded the Beatles and the hippness in Kevin. I liked when Winnie said he looked like Paul McCartney. The one about the Rolling Stones is a good one also. And of course the very last episode because Jack dies a few years down the line and makes it hard for a reunion movie.:(

It's impossible for me to pick just ONE favorite. There were so many that I could (and have) watch over and over. Off the top of my head I'd say:

*Denial- episode following Winnie and Kevin's breakup. The scene at the party in Paul's washroom between Kev and Winnie is great, as well as Kev crying in the garage while Jack holds him.

*Moving- Winnie moves away, Kevin buys her a ring, she rejects it, he throws it away, then at the end she's holding it in her hand when they say goodbye. Classic!

*The Unnatural- Kev goes out for the baseball team. "I found out my dad wasn't pulling strings for me...he was just pulling for me."

*Goodbye- Mr. Collins dies. Great acting overall. "You don't have to grade it. It's an A."

*Others - The Lake, Growing Up, The Accident, Broken Hearts and Burgers

I know I'll think of several more after posting this. Such a great show!

Episode #111 - Poker
Episode #33 - Rock'N'Roll

these are the greatest episodes ever created from the Wonder years crew.

Poker was awesome because it showed the true personalities of Kevin's friends, and how a simple game of cards can go from fun, to hectic, and back to fun again.
Rock'N'roll was awesome because i love music a lot and i thought it was really nice and funny to see kevin experiment with larry beaman and "the electric shoes"

A tough choice really, I loved every episode. I'd have to go with Pilot, Swingers, Rock n Roll, My Father's Office and Poker. Another favorite is the one where Kevin helps Winnie get through the play she was doing, and how at the end her parents got back together. I forget the title of that one at the moment.

My favorite episode is the one where Wayne gets his license. He's supposed to drive Kevin but he won't let him in the car. Everytime Kevin reaches for the doorhandle wayne drives off a few feet. kevin ends up chasing the car at the close of the episode.

It's impossible to declare my single most favorite episode of all time since so many of them are just so spectacular. Also, I have found that some of the episodes that made the most lasting impression on me from re-watching the show on Ion this past spring/summer are different from the ones that were my favorites when I first watched them in the late '80s/early '90s.

However, the following episodes are the ones that, to me, stand out as the best:

"The Pilot"
"Swingers"
"Goodbye"
"Heartbreak"
"Denial"
"The Accident"
and "Double Double Date"

Good episodes. The Pilot was no doubt great . . . one of the best Pilot's of all time. IMO, it's second next to Murphy Brown, but still it couldn't have been better. But, my alltime favorite episode, looking back once more, is probably "My Father's Office". It made me cry from the very start of the episode, when we see Kevin crying in his treehouse. An absolute magnificent episode.

My favorite would be the one at the beach with the older girl, that one was great.

Number 2 would be the one where he meets Cara at the drive-in.

The one with the math teacher dying was really good, as was the one where Kevin is working at the hardware shop.
