Early Thursday morning, TV Land is running the Episode where Barney makes an illegal U-turn and Gomer bellows "CITIZENS ARREST! CITIZENS ARREST!" Who remembers this classic episode?

Oh, yeah! I loved that episode ("Citizen's Arrest").

I have to say that Citizens Arrest is my Favorite Episode of The Andy Griffith Show and I hope that TV Land Re-broadcast that episode Soon

Sorry, This is one of my least favorites & the bottom of the barrel among the black & white episodes.

I have to say that Citizenes Arrest is my Favorite as well I cant wait till
TV Land Replay's that episode of The Andy Griffith Show.

That is a great episode.

"Citizen's Arrest" demonstrated that Jim Nabors was FUNNY, and he could stay on Andy's show as long as he wanted to (that is, until Andy spun him off into his own series!). This is another great example of Barney's big mouth and Gomer's gentle ignorance clashing at the same time...it "guaranteed" that we were going to see more of Gomer around Mayberry for quite a while!!
