Wings seems to have disappeared (due to heavy fog conditions) from Paramount's slate, completely. What is the exact reason? (Yes, I heard the ole' date pushback story, any other news besides that?).

I've posted this many times already. It will be coming out with Cheers and Frasier. Season 3 is already in the works for later in the year.

Yeah, I know that too (except for season three already being planned), but when is all this going to happen? It really has gone off the radar, as they're now shifting their focus to the old shows like TAGS and the final season of ILL (which is also great). They've kept continuing Cheers and Frasier releases a mystery (season seven was announced the day season six was released!), and when they originally promised to give us Wings in Feb., they decided to hold off. They're screwing around with us Wings fans, and I'd like to know what they're doing with Cheers, Frasier, and Wings--- it's not like they put any effort into Cheers and Frasier anymore, anyway. Unless of course, they're deciding to come back into the realm of putting extras on their releases.

So, in other words, besides all of this "news" that we have got, there is nothing for us to count on yet? Is there at least a tentative month?

You can scratch April. I was told we are getting Mission: Impossible S1 and The Sentinel S1 in April from PHE. So May would be a possible month now for Wings.

Wings seems, as of now, will get The Brady Bunch treatment. Meaning, we will see seasons 1 and 2 in May, season 3 later in the year and season 4, I have found out is ALSO already scheduled for 2006.

I'm ashamed of myself for cursing Paramount for taking so long with "Wings"! This is great news!

So now is "Taxi" still coming out along with Cheers and Frasier? I'm watching season 3 wondering when the last two seasons will be released.

Taxi remains a mystery.

Glad Wings will be getting a fast-paced release. Hopefully it sells well enough to be able to keep it up, I wish all shows were released that quickly.

And yeah, Taxi does appear to be a mystery, which sucks. I really thought they were selling well because they were coming out fairly quickly. I'm sure we'll see the rest of Taxi, they could just be holding off (I hope).

2006 looks to be a really good year for TV on DVD. I'm most definitely going to be broke, LOL.

What else could they pair Taxi with though?

Then by that time they will have completed of there sitcoms being Cheers, Frasier, Taxi, The Brady Bunch, & I Love Lucy and so what will they pair the final 3 seasons of Wings with Something they already started (Happy Days, Laverne and Shirley, & Mork and Mindy) or something new (Becker, The Odd Couple, Family Ties, & Many More...) Hopefully we will find out more in pavs blog today...

I haven't checked back at this thread since the 25th, but it seems as if we've found out alot. FINALLY, confirmation for CHEERS, FRASIER, and WINGS!

Since the long wait for FRASIER and CHEERS' Season Eight's, does that mean we might get extras this time around?

It still isn't official- no LP, no PHE write-up, no extras...



Let's not celebrate quite yet. I think the cover might even change, as Antonio didn't sign on to the cast until season 3. Although, they may just use his face on it for sales.
