I did this partly because I wanted to see how people would rank Barney Miller. I haven't seen it since it originally aired. I watched it all the time back then, but now watching the season 1 set, the show is doing NOTHING for me. So I wondered how others felt it stood up against the more popular 70s sitcoms. I'm not surprised so far just about everyne has it low.

Aside from that, I also just wanted to see everyone's lists. I had a feeling TVResearcher would add CPO Sharkey to his list.

the only thing interesting about Barney Miller to me was seeing Ron Glass come back 20 years after the show ended and attracted a new following in Firefly and Serenity as Shepard Booke.

First of all we're talking about a TV show, not the music. Don't insult my intelligence by making such a ridiculous claim. I have nothing whatsoever against their music but when it comes to the shows on that list I ranked them in my order of preference and I find the series to be quite boring which is why I placed it at #24. You got some nerve saying that I have zero credibility, if that's the case why don't you apply for the moderator's job in the music forum since you obviously have more credibility than I do. :rolleyes:

Shout! Factory---take this opportunity and run with it! This would be a great show for you to rescue!

First of all we're talking about a TV show, not the music. Don't insult my intelligence by making such a ridiculous claim. I have nothing whatsoever against their music but when it comes to the shows on that list I ranked them in my order of preference and I find the series to be quite boring which is why I placed it at #24. You got some nerve saying that I have zero credibility, if that's the case why don't you apply for the moderator's job in the music forum since you obviously have more credibility than I do. :rolleyes:

After reading some of your posts, I would have to question your credibility in general. You tend to take this job as moderator way too seriously. Relax and have some fun like the rest of us. Like I did when I saw your 70s sitcom rankings. I haven't had a good laugh like that in a long time. Keep up the good work!
