Does anyone remember this special that aired on ABC on September 16th, 2003? It aired 5 days after John passed away. It was a week before the Season Two Premiere....Well I was going through tapes the other night and saw it. I watched it again. it was great...It was hosted by ABC's Diane Sawyer. and had interviews with: Joyce Dewitt, Suzanne Summers,(She explains How she and John started speaking again, since "Three's Company") Richard kline, Cindy Williams, Henry Winkler, Katey Sagal, Kaley Cuoco, Amy Davidson, Martin Spanjers, Martin Short, Connie Sellecca, Paul Reiser, Billy Bob Thornton, Jason Alexander, Sara Rue, Marilu Henner, Jim Belushi, William H. Macy, John's older Brother, the crew of 8SR, and others.....There's Clips of John on "Three's Company", "Hooperman", "Hearts Affire", "Waltons", "Sling Blade", and "Problem Child">where he met Amy Yasbeck...There's also a few clips of "Man About The House".....The Special chronicles: John's Last Day with Us, The Doctor that was there when he passed, Footage of John's last interview, and a Heart Breaking Musical montage dedicated to John.....And there's also hysterical never before seen outakes from 8 simple Rules....---It was one of the greatest "specials" ever. If anyone wants to see it, or saw it but didn't record it, I'll be more than happy to make some copies. (I'm not selling them!!!= They're free. I think every John Ritter fan should have this in their collection...You'll just have to pay the shipping)...:)
