I use to think being fat was the worse thing that could ever happen to you, but now I think being ugly is much much worse! If you're fat, you can always diet or excerise.....and yes, I know it's not as easy as 1-2-3! But if you're ugly (kinda like me) there's not a whole lot you can do. You can't really change your face (I know there's plastic surgery but I've learned that SUCKS!) or change your look totally to look some hottie you know.

I choose option #3- Being a complete and total ass/jerk/*****/etc. The hottest person in the world suddenly becomes very ugly when they have a terrible personality.

I went with fat. Some people may be ugly to others but not you. Everyone who is fat is fat.

Being ugly is worse. As the T-shirt says, "I may be fat but you're ugly and I can diet!" My government teacher told us that the other day. He told us that his wife "is not exactly skinny." He won't call her fat or anything, but he will tell us that. And he said she saw a bumper sticker that said something similar to that ("I may be fat, but you're ugly and I can always lose weight") and about died laughing.

Personally, I think there are many more worse things than both of those(like the things someone mentioned above), but I guess ugly is my choice out of the two.

The worst thing of all to me, though, is someone who ugly on the inside. That overpowers any other thing, because it shines through.

Of course it's being UGLY-lol If you are Fat you can lose weight.

Please don't put yourself down. There is someone for everyone. What one person finds ugly, another will find incredibly attractive. I've never seen you, but I'm positive you are a pretty young girl. From reading your posts, you are definitely beautiful on the inside and believe me, that goes a long way. :)

That's true, but when I said being fat/ugly is the worst thing that can happen to u, I ment about appearance, not just life. Sorry about the confusion!

You can get rid of the fat but being ugly won't give you high blood pressure, diabetes, and all the other fat-related health problems.

Good one. And I was leaning toward "ugly" being worse, but now I can't decide. I think both camps have good and bad points.

There's nothing amusing about that. Just work on your self confidence, and realize that you're a good person regardless of what anyone says or thinks. I use to be very self conscious myself, so I know what it's like. I agree with Brian Damage. You're a cool person. Don't worry about what stupid people have to say. :)

I have never been fat and according to many girls I am atttractive, but I don't really worry about being ugly or fat. I think the worst thing a person can be is unhappy...or sick.

And don't feel that you shouldn't start certain threads because some people feel the need to put you and your threads down. They are only showing their own insecurities. People who feel bad about themselves often belittle others in order to make themselves feel better about their own shortcomings. Nikki, I really don't know you all that well, but from reading your threads and posts you do seem like a nice kid with a good personality. And in the end that is what is going to matter most.

Changing the way your face looks, isn't the answer. Sure it might seem nice to have a face that looks like someone you admire or you think has a "pretty" face, but at the end of the day what matters (or should matter) is who you are and not what you look like. If you have friends or know people who don't like the way you look then maybe they're not worth knowing.
