My Good Times thread not only went way off topic, it also got locked!
the topic was "I think I've got thee answer" in response to another thread regarding the issue of Good Times being a spin-off or not of Maude. Almost 300 posts later it had turned into a political debate mentioning George Bush:confused: It was funny seeing the two posters going at it, but it eventually got the thread locked! My first and only thread to be locked!:lol:

Yes, about a year ago, I posted a topic in the chit-chat forum here about 2 fat ladies at my job that eat a lot. One person said something about fat people, and the other person got offended. It went way off topic, and they started fighting and it ended up getting locked. Let me see if I can bring it up.

Yes, I've had a topic go off topic. I can't remember which thread, but it was a while back. Maybe last summer or so. No, I haven't had one of my threads locked. I don't think threads get locked as often. I rarely see it happen here in Chit Chat.

i was surprised to discover that the ONLY two threads I've ever had locked were ones that I had locked myself for the Happy Days Board Awards nominations.

Gah, I remember that. Practically every topic on the chit chat boards turned into a fight at one time.

But as for the topic question...I don't think I ever have started a thread that got locked for bad things, just for it getting to lengthy.

I don't think any thread I've ever made has been locked besides the random ones that were always locked when finished, but considering 80% of all the threads I've started were off topic, I guess most of them have went off topic.

Iv'e had plenty of threads that ended up going off topic, but thankfully I don't recall ever having one closed. Iv'e had threads that Iv'e posted on closed, but not ones that I started. I guess Iv'e just been lucky.
