after a number of years of waiting, TheDigitalBits posted today that we should be on the lookout for a season 1 DVD set of Ally McBeal sometime in the spring. I cannot wait considering the show hasn't been on FX in two years and the 6-episode "Best Of" set only made me depressed because it left me wanting more.

So Allys Coming to DVD, well the COMPLETE First season anyway??? That's great. I'm sure my Entire family will buy one each, so I'll borrow one of theirs. Do you think the DVD sales will do good enough for them to bring out all the other seasons??? Ally MCbeal flopped in syndication on FX. It didn't do good at all. This is one show that did good in it's prime, and really went bad in sydication. That's Probably why WE or Oxygen or one of those women Networks hasn't picked it up.

I'm not sure with Ally on reruns, the prob with Ally is that it was a show that was so hot at it's peak and burned out quickly, same thing possibly is gonna happen with Desperate Housewives.

As long as seasons 1 and 2 come out on DVD, I'll be set, but I would like to see 3 and 4 again too

i think the DVDs have been out in britain for quite a while.. i have series 1-3 on dvd..
