Favorite flavor of ice cream: I tasted black licorice ice cream in Sweden! That was some DAMN good stuff!!! It wasn't as strong as our kind of licorice, but it had this oh-so yummy flavor! I really wish I was able to bring some home with me. Haha.... :crying: I also like mint chocolate chip, but it's been so long since I've bought it! I would like to get some, though.

Least favorite flavor of ice cream: Hmmm.... I don't know, really. I would only say the sorbet flavors are my least-favorite kind. I'd rather have my ice cream milky and creamy than fruity, so to speak.

Yum, good topic :D

Favorite: I'm a huge fan of mint chocolate chip, strawberry, and various sorbets (mango is especially good).

Least Favorite: Chocolate...I can't stand chocolate ice cream (although I love chocolate bars...go figure).

I only like chocolate and vanilla.

I do have absolute least favorites though. Oh, they are so horrible I can't even utter their names. Curiously, they are my sister's two favorites.

Least favorite: cantaloupe
Yuck.

Favorite: Neopolitan...the best of all 3. I love to mix them all together.

Lease Favorite: Coffee, pistachio, butterscotch, or any sort of mint.
I'm also not a big fan of rocky road or cookies and cream. I like my ice cream not to have anything in it besides ice cream, except for maybe some cherry or strawberry chunks.

My boyfriend is addicted to orange pineapple ice cream...just wondering if anyone else has ever had that? I find it kinda nasty, but that's just me.

Okay, I wanted to bump up this thread because I recently discovered and experienced a new flavor of ice cream.

I was having lunch at a Korean restaurant about 1.5 months ago, and they had two different types of ice cream: green tea and ginger. I am not too fond of the spice of ginger because it's too strong, so I passed on that one. I decided to try the green tea ice cream. Mmmmm... I sooooo loved it!! I plan on seeing if one of our Asian supermarkets have the green tea ice cream available to sell. I would buy it!

Maybe the ginger ice cream won't be as overbearing on the spice flavor as the spice itself, so I will try that one next time.

So, I will add green tea ice cream to my list of favorite types of ice cream! :D

I had ginger ice cream before, too, at the 'China' portion of Epcot. Yeah, I agree the spice is a little strong but I still liked it. I only had a small cup of it though, I don't think I could eat a whole bowl.

Hmm, I'm not sure if this is what you mean, but I've tried something called Green Tea and Mango that is put out by Turkey Hill (they have other varities besides the mango...I think they might have green tea and raspberry too).

It's pretty good :) The green tea portion is rich and creamy, while the mango is a bit more like a sherbert (not quite as fruity, though...but I mean texture wise). It's good. Check out the Turkey Hill website to see what I mean.

Wow! So even the ginger in the ice cream is too strong? Ack! I was leary about trying the black licorice-flavored ice cream in Sweden for that same thought, but I found it wasn't as strong. So maybe the Chinese version is opposite.

Yeah, the Korean kind I tried is actually just "green tea." It looks green almost like the color of mint ice cream, but it has a different type of pastel green. Hmmm....green tea AND mango put together? That sounds Asian as well. I've never heard of Turkey Hill, as I don't see we carry that brand. So maybe it's a location thing. I checked out their website, but it doesn't have a locations search. I am not a big fan of mango, but if I see this combo, I will try it. The green tea and raspberry sounds more appealing to me. Yum. Thanks!
