Actually, I think you've misinterpreted the information. I think that the 7 segments on the Treasures disc and the 5 new ghost stories are included in the 14 new segments that are in the boxed set.

That's just my opinion, but logic would sort of dictate that that's what they meant.

Possibly, but that leaves 2 other "new" stories left over, which seems a bit bizarre...i assumed by listing the 14 new segments separately from the 7treasures and 5 ghost segments, that they would be different

time will tell i guess

This is great news. I just hope that the info from amazon is accurate (from First Look info I assume). Sometimes these things can be inaccurate. But from my perspective, it certainly gives more hope about the content of these discs. At least if its right that there are 14 new stories not on dvd before, and that we'll actually be able to still obtain the Treasures segments, the new ghost stories. That is still 2 more stories we don't know about. And I pray that the others aren't rehashes. But still wouldn't it most likely be? That still leaves 22 stories that could be rehashes. Lets hope that they
make those ones more worth it, by giving commetary on some the stories that didn't have commentary before, and hopefully some of the 14 new ones have commentary. Or maybe the its mostly new? That be 26 stories are new to dvd. We still don't know what it means. The total amount of "best of" stories was 36 according to tvshowsondvd.com. Either its 14 new leaving 22 old, or 26 new and leaving 10 old. We need more info! I really hope its the latter count so it'd more worth the purchase.

I really wish they would make sets available by season like a lot of other sitcoms. I guess they decided that the market isn't large enough to justify making them.

The fact that there are thousands of segments, especially ones that are prone to possible updates, would make it pointless anyway.

I'll probably wait until I hear what the rest of you have to say about the Best of set... then I'll buy it. :)

It looks like Amazon has taken down the listing for the Unsolved Mysteries Ultimate Collection. As for the Best Of.. set, we will have to wait and see if it actually contains segments we havent seen before on dvd.
