THE VIDEOLAND VIEW: Victor Williams may play Kevin James' best friend on "The King of Queens," but it's co-star Leah Remini who keeps him in stitches. "There's a certain kind of energy that she has that keeps you on your toes. She's a spitfire. It's unpredictable what kind of things will come out of her mouth," he says with a laugh. With the show now in its eighth season, Williams admits, "Not knowing for sure when it's going to end is a little disconcerting. I think we're nearing the end, but I don't think the end is quite here yet. If I was a gambling man, I would say that we are coming back, but it's never a definite."
In the meantime, Williams is trying his hand at producing. "There are some small, independent projects that I'm working on. I'm also working with Rainn Wilson ('The Office'), who's directing a production of Chekhov's 'Three Sisters.' I'm excited to be a part of it."
In other news, Williams will be getting married this summer. "That's part of the reason I've backed off of the acting a little bit, to keep myself available to deal with the headaches of planning a wedding." Fun, Victor - you meant to say the fun of planning a wedding.
