did anyone else laugh (like the audience) when that police bust went down on the apt. and the guys? When I watched this episode during it's first run, I didn't understand what the audience found so funny. To me it was a serious situation. Later on, I realized that bust was not textbook. It was hurried, obviously because of time constraints, but still, it was stupid. Those cops didn't search correctly. They opened a few cabinets and left. That does not happen in real life.

What cracked me up was when the guy throws the money in the police face and then trys to run, as if he was going to really get someplace, and then the policeman shoots the guy in the leg and the guy falls on the couch. Just how fake the whole thing looked is what was funny to me.

Yes, looking at it now the whole scene looks fake and obviously incomplete in terms of the police search, etc. But watching it as a child for thr first time, it was realistic to me. When I watched GT as a kid I thought JJ was really shot too.

Irene I agree especially about the Cops not looking good in the kitchen but the stupidest part was them looking in the broom closet and didnt find JJ but then when they left here comes JJ coming outta the broom closet..ok how the hell did they not see him in there? A broom closet aint that big and if it was they were supposed to search all the way in there...just dumb writing

Stupid cops. The same thing kinda went down at Willona's when Penny's mom set up that party and those cops don't even check around, they just take the people out the door.
