I have standard cable. I don't get many Channels at all. These are the two I wish I had the most.

Starz Westerns
TV One

VH1 Soul, and an on-demand channel that shows good free unedited older sitcoms like Comcast On Demand does

TVOne, Oxygen

I don't have GSN - at all - and would definitely like it back, but to get it back I just have to switch to Digital Cable. TVOne and Oxygen aren't available at either place at ALL, hence why they're listed

Seth, if you're in NYC do you not have Time Warner? TWCNYC digital has TVOne, and Oxygen is on the standard/basic service. (TVOne might actually be standard too, I think. I forget what channels they go up to before hitting the digital only channels)

It'd be on my list too if it hadn't been recently added to my system. So far I have everything everyone else has mentioned.

SOAPnet and....SOAPnet

I'd like The-N and AmericanLife to be upgraded to basic cable, though, so I can tape the Degrassi shows and "Homefront" among the other goodies that AL has...

me too, but I am sure if it went national, they'd sell their souls like TV Land and N@N and get rid of all their shows and just show the same old played out shows

AmericanLife.

I have all the others everyone's listed. I'd love ME-TV if it weren't a local channel.

I guess I can add Sleuth (which DirecTV is adding sometime this spring), even thoug I'd probably on watch Miami Vice and sometimes Equalizer, but since Vice is on TVL and I saw a lot of Equalizer on Hallmark... heh. I'd love Sleuth to expand and add more drama series that aren't already played out in syndication.

I'm assuming, from ealier posts in this thread, that Boomerang is an actual network? If it's like the Cartoon Network USED to be a few short years ago, that would be great...

Everything else, we have (Comcast Digital)... we also have a lot of crap we don't need! But we do get the Encore stations (Mysteries, Westerns, Action, Love Stories...) and that's pretty good, plus we have Turner Classic which is great (although they really don't run all classics, all the time)...

Yeah, Boomerang shows everything from old Looney Toons and Hanna Barbera, to newer stuff. Like last night, I watched Dexter's Lab on there. So basically, yeah, like CTN used to be...with the exception of...commercials. Boomerang doesn't show commercials.

Not sure how long it's been since you've seen AMC, but they run a lot of commercials now when they show a movie...it used to be a commercial free station, but I don't watch it any more, even though we have it on our cable system, because of the time wasted with commercials...

But that's just me, I never watch movies on any commerical channels any more... either we buy them, rent them from netflix, or tape 'em and put 'em on DVD when they run on a commerical free channel like Encore...
