This just got me to wondering. Are there any other posters here that you met at another message board BEFORE you and the other poster joined here?

I have known Conservative4Life since 2001. We both posted at the message boards over at Yesterdayland (RIP). I don't even remember why or how, but we started talking to each other there. He was mdntrider7 over at YL and I went by the same name here, over there. I registered here in 2002 but lurked for several months after that and started posting in early 2003, right after YL went down under. Lo and behold, there he was. It was freaky as hell.

 Yep, you're definitely the one person here who Iv'e known the longest. In reality, I didn't really even know anybody here at S.O. until I had already been here for a year. I only posted on the FT, AND D.S. board in my first year, but never really interacted much with anyone. But yeah, you and I go way back. Iv'e told you this before, but one of the main things I liked about you, was that you were really into Back To The Future. I was a huge M.J.F. fan, so I thought that was really cool. I also liked the fact that we were both Leo's, and we both joined Y.L. around the same time. :D I remember at Y.L. it would be like 2:00 am, and you and I, and a couple others would be the only ones up and posting. As the Bunker's would say, Those were the days.

Unfortunately, I'm out of contact with pretty much everyone else I ever knew from YL, so that makes me extra happy to still know you!! :)

Well, she doesn't come around here anymore but I knew Montana Ponine. Not from real life, but I had talked to her before on the internet from Three's Company ties and somehow another person from another message board gave me her sn. chyia.

Yeah, it took me a while to know everybody too. I was a big-time lurker in '02 and in '03. I mainly remember reading Solomon's posts...they kept me entertained. I remember one of my first posts, upon coming back to post in '03 was to one of his threads. :D

That's the one thing I remember about you from way back at YL. I remember somebody (forgot who) made a BTTF thread on the movies board when BTTF was getting ready to hit stores...it was sometime in December 2002, I think around Christmas because I remember I went to Suncoast after Christmas and BTTF was in the "New Releases" section of the store. Good times, good times.

That's right, I think we both joined YL in November 2001. I still remember my registration date - mainly because I still have the email that YL sent to me right after I registered. It was November 18th. And I do remember the late-night postings too. Man, some good times were had. :D And you were one of the YLers I enjoyed talking to the most. Unfortunately, I can't remember how often we PM'd each other there.

I still adore BTTF, by the way. Always have, always will. :D

I knew Ravey from a Disney Channel Message Board, when she was still a Raven fan. When the Disney message board closed, we lost touch. I registered here and I noticed a poster called Jackie who was basically the same as the girl from the Disney Channel board and I pmed her, and it was her

I think I mentioned this before but I very briefly knew TV Researcher aka Retro TV Collector aka TVShow Analyzer aka etc. etc. from a Good Times Yahoo group we were both in. I was never a heavy message board person until I joined SO, so I wasn't really familiar with anyone else before I joined.

I became a member here after a few posters on Zap2it's message boards posted links to the SO blog. From there I found the message boards. One of those members was Brent88, who the oldtimers will remember as a former regular here. This smiley was named after him. :brent
