Redd Foxx hair was natruly red. Do anybody know if Norman Lear and Bud Yorken had him put grey dye in his hair to make him look older because in real life Redd was in his 50's at that time not in his 60's.

I could be wrong, but I think by the time Sanford and Son premeired, he really did have some gray hair. Being 49-50 at the time it would seem believeable that he had real gray hair. Rich3 01-21-2006, 12:26 PM Fred's hair was cool. It was just cut short, not styled. Similar to what more guys are wearing these days. Woolworth27 01-23-2006, 07:26 PM That's not the question that I asked. glenny 01-31-2006, 11:31 AM I liked when they gave Fred that "Abe Lincoln" look. I think it started with the TV Addict episode. Janice 02-04-2006, 12:27 AM I was noticing Fred's hair recently, and it reminded me of sheep's wool. It's cool looking -- soft, curly and white. And I know that's not the question you asked Woolworth, but I wanted to put a comment about Fred's hair in a thread titled, Fred's Hair. |
