YES i do not like the show, i thought it was a dreadful rip off of The Cosby Show (another show I didnt like) BUT---- I would like to see it again, b/c I think Flip Wilson was such a likable guy

he was so generic and "white bread". The perfect black comedian that was meant to offend noone. BUT THE FUNNY THING WAS he could have been so much better, IF they had given him a little leeway. I think they really pushed his variety show, b/c he was "safe" and at a time when Redd Foxx and Richard Pryor were hits on LP and the standup circuit.... BUT also controversial, Flip was likable and a safe alternative.

did i like the show? NO, 100% NO! even Flip Wilson himself didnt like it.

BUT ive not seen it in so long id lovvvvvvvve to see it again!
