She has remained so youthful and beautiful. She lives in a nearby city from mine. My boyfriend works in Westlake Village and he told me she went into his place of business as a customer. He says she still looks the same. She hosted a local show here in 2001 and I would watch it just to see her. She would talk to local people from different walks of life. Usually people doing things in the community, etc. She had some celebs too, usually celebs from our area. I miss that show. It was called "In the Spotlight". I have posted a link here for those interested:

I just watched Kari in a Diff'rent Strokes episode. She played Kimberly's pregnant girlfriend. It really makes me want the Gimme A Break! set!

I also remember Kari in the movie "Saturday the 14th" and I know I've seen her in an Afterschool Special or two years back.

i posted this before but i had a big crush on her in jr high and high school and i even tried to go to a taping of gimmie a break once but while i was waiting outside the stuido a page came and told the rest of us who were still in line that all the seats had been filled that was the closest i ever got to kari and to make matters worse when i saw the show a couple of months later on tv she looked soo great in the outfit that she was wearing in the ep that i didnt get into that it made me even madder that i didn get to see her and that short outfit in person on the bright side i still have my unused ticket from the show so at least i got something out of the whole thing

Oh, sorry SNL 70's. I can imagine what that was like for you. At least you have a memory from that day.
