I havent watched any episodes of season 6, except for the last one when eric leaves. Ive season season 8 and it really doesnt make any sense.

You build this show up and its CORE is the situation between donna and eric. You really build thier characters up as a pair and individually. Eric is that nice guy who always gets screwed but sometimes comes up with last laugh. The guy everyone mooches from. he would never call donna and break up with her from africa after 7 years you get people to watch this show and you kill his character like that?

And whats even dumber is........(spoiler scroll down)

in later episodes randy and donna are together in erics room, in his basement everywhere. Im really guessing he left the show on bad terms becasue they are butchering his character big time.. i DOUBT he will return to the show, and if this is the case.....the show has been TAINTED! anyone agree?

I definitely agree. I dunno, I just can't picture Eric doing that to a girl he's been dating for so long, one that could be considered his first love. I wish they would've thought of a more tactful way to end their relationship instead of 'Oh, by the way, Eric dumped me over the phone.' (It didn't go exactly like that, but yeah...it pretty much did).

The show is forever tainted by having Randy and Donna together.

If anything, they should have had Donna with someone we don't see onscreen. It's the last freaking season, you don't need Donna ending up with the new guy(Randy) for the last half of the episodes. That is a slap in the face.

If they wanted Donna to move on, she could mention she is seeing someone new, and we never see him (so what would that be? a mere 10 episodes?) and then have him make an appearance in the finale.

That, or either be true to the show and bring Eric back at the end.

Because if the creators and writers think they are being realistic with this crap, I'd like to see anyone whose ex-girlfriend fools around in his house while he's away.

The show blows.
