We all know Johnny got fired once for saying Booger on the air. But does anyone know what he said that got him fired the second time? All the reruns I've seen always have what he said muted out. It's from the episode where Johnny comes back from California and discovers the payola in the form of "nose candy."

Actually I think it was muted out in the original broadcast too.

According the the now-defunct "America's Favorite Radio Station" website, Howard Hesseman recalls he said either "F*** you" or "Tough S***".

I believe that I did hear booger in the broadcast. Anyway it was pretty funny every time Johnny mentioned it.

"Jive ass" sounds like a good choice. I always thought it was "half-ass" and, yes, even in the original airing, it was bleeped. Perhaps a lip-reader could watch Johnny's mouth and give us the answer?
