Anyone know someone who is famous or knew them before they became famous?

I know people who know people who are famous. Adrianne Curry from Americas Next Top Model/The Surreal Life lived in my neighborhood (her mom still does) and a lot of my teachers had her in class.

Josh Duhamel. I went to school with his cousin. They are cousins because their dads are brothers. I met Josh a real long time ago, way before his All My Children days.

Her older sister was a friend of Joyce's during their elementary school years. I thought that was pretty cool. I could probably get some dirt/info on Joyce's childhood if I asked her for details! :lol:

-An ex-co-worker said she attended a high school with Neil Patrick Harris from "Doogie Howser, MD."

Well, my uncle is a television producer named Thomas Miller. That really does not make him famous though. Also most of the shows he produced are not among my favorites.:lol:

I once lived down the street from someone who's semi-famous. His name is Dr. Arthur Benjamin, Ph.D., and he's a professor of mathemathics at Harvey Mudd College in California.

He invented a game called Mathenatics, and he wrote numerous articles and papers and co-wrote a book. He also was in several videos and in 1988 there was a story on him in "People" magazine.

Ok, I know this isn't something to be happy about haha, but my aunt told me she's friends with Aaron Carter's cousin. So far I still have not gotten a free ticket to his concert, haha.

Also, my parents are real good friends with Bo Orlando. I think he was on the Oilers football team and then the Chargers. I even remember going to his house too, and I have an autograph of him and then he signed a card and gave it to me. But that was probably when I was way little, because I remember when I went to their house I was watching Barney, haha!

I just found out that my former 7th grade Language Arts teacher was in a movie in 2003. I knew about some voice over work she did, but I didn't know that she appeared in a movie. I knew she was looking into doing independent films, but that's the last thing I knew. I haven't heard from her in about five or six years. She moved from Texas to South Carolina. She's no longer teaching. She stopped teaching in 1999 or 2000. Her name was Ms. Kaleta Smith, but she got married in 2000 and her last name changed to Burruto. My friend Katie's husband was Elvis Presley's platoon seargent in the late 50's. Katie baked some cookies for him and he sent her a thank you letter. Personally, the only "famous" person I've ever really talked to and become friends with is Mary Roach from last season's American Idol... the "crazy" one who had voices in her head. She's not really crazy. I love her.

Yes. She had an occuring role in a few episodes. After that, she got a bit part on the "Veronica's Closet" pilot episode. When that happened, i told her she was going to land on a show of her own the next TV season.
(I have a theory that if an actor/actress appears on more than one NBC show in one season, that means that NBC is grooming that person for a new series.)
Sure enough, the next year she was on "Jesse."

A lady I work with at the Aquarium used to be an actress before going back to school and getting her degree to work at Aquariums.

I don't know if you'd call this famous, but I went to school witha lady who is now a tv news reporter. Still talk to her, she's nice.

hmmmm...well, my daughter's high school teacher (when she was in high school) is Jessica Alba's uncle. He knew my daughter was a big fan of hers. He would let her hear her voice mail messages she would leave on his cell. He would always tell her where she was at, what she was working on, etc.

I just thought of another one-- my Uncle does photography work for groups like Taking Back Sunday, Hawthorne Heights, and a lot of those little groups that came out of Long Island (and I'm sure others that haven't too). He gets to hang out with them and snap pics of them playing :) I can ask him more about it next time I see him. I thought that was really cool.

I WAS INVITED TO EAT WITH THE CAST & CREW. I DIDN'T EAT ANYTHING OF COURSE, BUT I DID SIT WITH THEM & TAKE IT ALL IN. THIS WENT ON FOR ABOUT 3 NIGHTS/EARLY MORNINGS. THEY WERE ALL VERY NICE, AND KEIFER WAS A QUIET, NICE MAN. I'M GLAD TO SEE HE'S DOING VERY WELL IN 24!

I ALSO MET BARRY WILLIAMS, AKA, GREG BRADY. I WAS WITH SOME FRIENDS AT MIDWAY AIRPORT, WHEN ONE OF THEM SAID, "HEY, ISN'T THAT GREG BRADY?" AFTER HER CONCERT, I ASKED ONE OF THE USHERS IF I COULD GIVE HER THE FLOWERS I HAD. THEY CHECKED AND SAID BETTY HAD A COLD AND WAS NOT FEELING WELL, BUT SHE WOULD MET WITH ME. I WAS THEN DIRECTED BACKSTAGE. SHE INVITED ME ONTO THE COUCH, WHERE WE TALKED A LITTLE WHILE. I TOLD HER HOW I LOVED HER ACTING, AND THAT SHE AND EIGHT IS ENOUGH HAVE BEEN FAV'S OF MINE SINCE I WAS A LITTLE GIRL. (I THINK I EVEN TOLD HER I HAD THE BIGGEST CRUSH ON NICHOLAS & JEREMY (ADAM & RALPH). SHE SIGNED A PERSONAL AUTOGRAPHED PIC FOR ME. My family and I are best friends with L.A. Times sportswriter Bill Plaschke and his family. They are really great people. My Stepdad went to highschool with Jonathan Davis from KoRn and is still friends with him. They aren't like best friends, but they have talked since my Stepdad has been back from Iraq.

I've met several celeb's, but never knew anyone in particular. I am however friends with Ryan Donowho, or Johnny of "The OC" this past season. He's my next door neighbor as well. And the lead singer in his band is Michael Pitt, who was in the 3rd Season of Dawson's Creek and has since been in alot of Indie films. I see him on occasion.
