The L Word....

Any one wacth it, it's kind of like a soap,but I did not see it on any other boards like Drama.Any ways I like the charaters in the l word, Queer As Folk was my other night time soap,then it went off the air then The L word I just found a while back just got Showtime, Who is this lady in the wheel chair who comes by checking the house where the baby (Tina's) baby I have seen her before,but where?

That was Cynthia Stevenson in the wheelchair. She's been in a lot of things before, including "Dead Like Me" and the "Air Bud" movies.

I liked "The L Word" in the first season, but not since. Last year was when it really became more of a melodramatic soap than a typical drama, so I wasn't even going to bother with it this year. I'd heard, though, that the writers and producers were aware that last season was awful and promised that this year would be much better. From what I've seen so far, it isn't. The horrible theme song is still there, the writing seems worse (if that's possible), and they've turned the few remaining semi-stable characters into deranged caricatures of their former selves.

I don't know who or what their target audience is, but each week this show seems to fall deeper into a pit of the ugliest and most disturbing of false stereotypes. I hate to say it, but it's enough to put a person off lesbians altogether.
