not sure, it's stupid that she's had so many hiatuses between American Idol's to work on a comeback album and hasn't. It's now been eleven years since "Head Over Heels" came out, I think it's time for some new Paula. She was certainly a bad vocalist but her music was usually fun and peppy

As long as she somewhat kept up with her voice, she could still sing the type of pop songs she used to do... none of her songs were ever vocally difficult to pull off, but they were still catchy and popular... her voice isn't bad persay, it's just really "thin".

I honestly don't know how I feel about this. If she can really blow people away with a great album, then yes it can work. If it's some cheesy over produced op album she shouldn't move forward. I don't think it will do well. Maybe with Idol fans. What she could do that might make her more money is write a book. Maybe she has one already ???? Everyone seems to have a book....

If Madonna and Janet can't make a decent comeback themselves, I doubt Paula can.

Madonna's album is doing huge pretty much every country but it's just doing modestly here, but Hung Up is one of her biggest ever hits in the UK, spending 10 weeks in the top 3. On a worldwide level, Confessions is actually more successful than Emancipation Of Mimi. Janet's comeback album is a few months away, let it come out first before calling it a flop.
