Have anybody notice that on the early episodes lamonts hair is more of a course texter then all of a sudden during the thrid or fourth seson his hair is Ricky Ricardo, Ceasar Romero Curly? Could it be that he might have put something in his hair, if that's so then was that the style back then?

I noticed that too. Than at the 6th season he cuts it down real short. It makes his head look real small.

He could have had a press and curl or a relaxer on his hair.

Time and gravity on the body. I guess it happens to most of us, lol. I always thought he was a very handsome man on Sanford & Son. Nice face...physique, and he had a nice manner about him. I get the feeling that he's a gentle soft-spoken man in real life too.

I hear he is a minister now, working with ex-convicts. I am glad he got rid of that curly greasy mess he had on his head for a while.

During that time it was popular for men to "roller set" their natural to give it a more curly, wavy look. This look was made popular by actors like Calvin Lockhart and Billy Dee Williams.
