I know this has been mentioned before but I have to say it again, what is up with TV Land's airing of Night Court lately? It's only on like 4 times a week! Is it ever going to go back into a normal rotation and be on every night like every other show? Does anyone know if the My Time Marathons are going to return? This has me so mad, they're treating out show horribly...sorry I had the vent!

I'd say hang around a few months, things are bound to change. TV Land has the spotty continuty of many a comic book, so that's about the length of advice I can give.

I'm really bummed. They're skipping "Harry on Trial" this round due to their lousy scheduling. If they aired this last run I missed it. It's been years since I've seen it and I was really hoping to catch it this time.
Can someone give me a nice and detailed description? The online episode guides are so off in their synopses!

Harry's methods of adjudication are brought to trial by Judge Willard who basically thinks Harry is unfit to be a judge. Everyone comes to bat for Harry and things look good for him until Judge Willard brings in a private investigator who found that prostitute Carla B. stayed at Harry's apartment all night long. Faced with this revelation, Harry quits so Carla B. will not have to tell her story. Later, the judge who was hearing Harry's case and Carla B. end up in Harry's chambers where the judge hears Carla's sad story of how she had to identify a body of a friend of hers. She was very traumatized and had no one else to turn to, so she went to see Harry. He ended up giving her a shoulder to cry on all night long and nothing else. Upon hearing there was no wrong doing, the allegations brought against Harry were dropped and he was allowed to stay a judge.

Hope this helps.

You're the BEST, nitcrt1, thank you!

Now I'm DYING to see this episode. I like the eps. that show the extra sweet side of Harry the best. Or the extra goofy side of Harry. He's always sweet and goofy but some of them just take it to the next level.

No problem. :) The synopses of the episodes are pretty bad. If you want to know about any of the other ones, I can try to help you out as best I can.

Nitcrt1, I got it! After your summary, I had to see "Harry on Trial" so I got the episode and watched it last night. Very sweet! I like the old judge who was deciding Harry's case. "I'm not senile, I've been like this for 50 years."

I liked that episode. I liked it too when the judge alludes to the fact how he's always been crazy like Harry but as he gets older you'd never know the difference. (LOL)

I just want nightcourt fans to know that I have been taping eps from TVland but sometimes they broadcast out of order or they don't show some episodes at all. They are not showing the following episodes:
New Year's Leave
Baby Talk
The Modest Proposal

I am assuming they are not showing these episodes because of scheduling conflicts-but they could still show them. Or maybe those episdoes are not politically correct. I don't remember them. Maybe someone can shed some light on why TVland is not airing these episodes? I am about ready to stop watching TVland all together. Who needs them anyway? Can you believe how many commercials they show and how much they cut out of the programs. Only one channel right now I think is worse-Lifetime. Well, I just needed to vent. I am really getting disgusted. I just can't be the only one.
I don't understand how they stay in business. They have to be losing money with dvds so common now. Speaking of dvds-any luck getting Nightcourt full season sets?

Late in 2005, they would air the holiday themed shows out of order. I recall them airing one of the season 3 Halloween shows on Halloween, when they were in season 7. For Thanksgiving, they aired Last Temptation of Mac that day, they also did some Christmas shows around Dec. 25 and they did air New Year's Leave on Dec. 31. Next week they will not be airing Wednesday 3/22 or Sunday 3/26 at 11:59pm due to the TV Land Awards show. Fortunately, they're not skipping any episodes those two nights. What will be interesting is if Night Court gets bumped again when Benson starts airing in early June at the 11pm time slot.

TV Land is notorious for heavily touting a new addition to the line up then giving it all of two weeks regular air time then yanking it. They don't realize that some shows didn't hit their "groove" until season 2 or 3 and therefore the choice episodes (the ones we remember and love) never air. Just because a show is old doesn't mean it doesn't have to build a following. I also would say that some people are watching these shows for the first time, not watching them as reruns. I'd never watched Mayberry RFD or The Cosby Show until it started airing on TV Land (or Nick At Nite).

I think Benson is replacing "What Happening" time slot. Believe me I watched Benson in the past it is very boring and not funny show Im not gonna watch it forget it been there and seen the show.

Im not gonna watched mararthon tomorrow 3-18-06 Sanford and SonYUCK. Im going to watch the DVD tv shows that I bought instead leave the channel on TBS while I watch tv show DVD (that what I usally do) I want tvland to think that Im not watching "Sanford & Son" or any show that Im not intestered that Tvland is airing it except once in while Cheer and everynight N.C. that only two show I like to watch on tvland and all other show Im not interested at all.

In another word tvland should remove Brady Bunch the DVD has all 5 season tvland dont need to air Brady Bunch I didnt buy BB DVD becasue it doesnt work out for family today and I used to watch long tme ago but Im not intersted in Brady Bunch it just doesnt work anymore today.
