I actually enjoyed this episode.

My sister watched this episode tonight. She's a Josh Meyers fan from Mad TV and this was the first episode of "That 70's Show" since the second season! She said the jokes were too predictable. But she's not a part of these messageboards! And I liked the episode.

I'm warming up to Randy. I never officially hated him (like most everybody else). He's no Eric, but he's not trying to be. Eric and Kelso are gone and Randy is not their replacement. He just happened to join the group after they left (well, towards the very end of Kelso's run). Over at the imdb boards, eveybody is so hateful. You can't have an opinion that's different from their's or they go off. All I see over there is "Kill Josh Meyers!" and "Randy Needs to Fall Off the Water Tower!" It's annoying.

I actually hate Randy more than I used to. I thought he was harmless for a while, but now I realize he's a poor actor, he's poorly characterized, and the writers give him the most absurd lines.

I thought the episode was okay. I was more fascinated by the MTM references than anything else. Jackie's just too self-involved these days to carry a storyline by herself.

The Hyde/Red story saved the episode from television hell. These two are always wonderful.
