Malibu, CA(I know mostly about kids surfing)
All about US (4 high School girls)
California Dreams

And off note, why is it most shows usually have more male actors then female actors?

Tool Time
Saved by the Bell
Malibu, CA.
Cheers,
Night Court
Wings
Wonder Years
Everyone Loves Raymond

My Three Sons
Leave it to Beaver
Happy Days

Smart Guy

Just to name a few you probably could name lots.

Also why it is when there is single parents it is mostly males(fathers, uncles, male figure) that is taking care of kids?

I guess he stuck to the school setting after hitting it big with SBTB. Smart business move, but he milked it dry.

I liked when he took a "serious" turn, and did "Just Deal."

I liked when he took a "serious" turn, and did "Just Deal."

He was never involved with Just Deal thus saving the show from an obnoxious laughtrack and ridiculous caricatures. Just Deal came from another prolific tween tv producer, Tom Lynch, who created noteable shows such as "Secret World of Alex Mack," "Caitlin's Way," "Kids Incorporated" and more recently "Class of 3000" and the risque "South of Nowhere." Though Just Deal wasn't perfect by any means -- it was too preachy and moralistic at times but it was more realistic than the other TNBC shows which I liked.
