I had seen this before and forget to ask here on the forum, so here I am finally asking. Did anyone else notice when Flo and her boss are in the japanese restaurant, he compliments her new outfit. They both then say something to each other and then Flo says this: "I can't say that abt most of my outfits". However, what her mouth is saying is totally different! I can't recall at all during it's first run if this editing was from the beginning, or did it occur in syndication? Anyone else catch this? I don't have the DVD so I can't catch what her lips are actually saying.

I didn't catch this, I have the DVD but the way TVland is it wouldn't surprise me that they dubbed over it. That's why I don't even hardley watch TVLand and their edited scenes.

It also occurred in the Xmas episode where they perform at Keith's job. Flo is singing and her mouth doesn't match is being sung. I don't get it. I know having watched Good Times during it's first run back in the dayz, I wasn't looking for goofs. Didn't even know goofs existed. I thought television programming was perfect!!!! Duh!!!!

I don't know, but it's an episode with James in it, so it's probably season 3.

I checked my DVD and it looks to me the sound just got out of sync somehow with her mouth. I think she actually mouthed what was heard.

I've seen that in a couple of episode, with the words being out of sync with the mouth. It happened in the Madd Dogg episode when Madd Dogg came to the house and Thelma said, "JJ, Somethings hear to see you." It look like that was out of sync with Thelma's mouth.
