Anyone want to share any strange dreams?

I have one I had yesterday:

I was in class (for some reason we were having it outside:crazy: ) and my Geography teacher from last year was teaching it. His wife was there too and she was making cofee by the lunch room outside wall on a stove. He gave us a test and for a few minutes i sat there- taking the test when all of a sudden I kept swaying to the side and HAD to go to the side walk by the lunch room then I started flying over the school. (it was almost uncontrolable)

Then I came back and said "I would like to explain why I did that" and He replied "Because the test is hard and there is a nice breeze?"
Me: "haha no. I couldn't stop and I don't know whats wrong!"
Teacher guy: "mmmmtay sit down"

I finish my test and wake up..

The uncontrolable urge thing has happend to me in his class before. (in real life) of course i didn't fly but i kept like tapping my pen loud or having the undying urge to write nirvana in every blank on my tests and worksheets.
Creepy....

The other day I had a dream where-- seriously-- I was being held captive at an evil black magic ritual by Dick and Jerry Van Dyke.

This is probably the first sign of clinical insanity...

i have tons of them. sometime later when i'm not lazy i'll post them.
but i keep having these reoccuring dreams.
i had one a few nights ago.

i'm in new york city or some other big city.. and i guess my friend's aunt lives in this hotel or something. and EVERY time i go in there someone tries to kidnap me. it's usually always some weirdo from Law and Order SVU too. but this last time i had to take her dog up to her.. and some weird guy came up behind me and i started screaming and kicked him in the face. and more people were coming at me.
it was weird.

I'm in a play that has an evil conman who wants to kill someone for a villian. I had a dream last night that the actual guy playing the villian in the play said that he was going to kill me in a few days. And I told my family and they just said I was being overdramatic.

I went to audition for the role of Cody on Step by Step. During the dream, we found Sasha Mitchell dead. I said "Dude, he's dead." The director says "You got the role." Weird dream but at least I'd have money and Christine Lakin.

I was shopping at Wal-Mart (ewww). I see this kid I went to school with (the one I emailed awhile back who just stopped emailing me for no reason). Even though we end up in the same aisle, he doesn't seem to notice me. So I finally just grab his arm and says something like, we need to talk. And he just walks away from me! I ended up laughing it off and shopping for lightbulbs.

I finally have something to contribute to this thread from this week....

I had a dream that I took my mom and sister to Antwerp, Belgium for the Night of the Proms concerts (the ones I attended in late October 2005). It was the part just before the concert started and the time when “the early birds” had a chance to run up to the front of the stage. In my dream the concert arena of the Sportspaleis was much smaller. Of course, dreams are always skewed and rather different than real-life. So I remember we were standing in the middle, but there was a row of chairs for us to sit in until the concert started. I recall telling my mom and sister all about the previous concerts I attended and how it was going to be like, etc, etc. Then my dream ended right before the concert began. Grrrr… Anyway, that’s my dream. It just felt soooo real for me. http://server5.dedicateduk.com/~ace/thb/smilies/22.gif

And.... I also had another dream almost a week ago, but unfortunately, I do not always remember my dreams, especially the ones I consider important. I find that I remember half of my dreams the most as soon as I wake up from it. Waking up and then falling back to sleep doesn't count, for some odd reason. In fact, if I do the latter, I tend to forget the details of the dream easier. Puh!

Just nearly a week ago, I recall having a somewhat meaningful dream, and I awoke at about 3:00 a.m. from the hum of my computer. I accidentally left it on, so I turned it off and went back to sleep. As I was turning off my computer, I was thinking about the dream, and I should have written it down immediately while it was still fresh in my head. I was still quite sleepy, so I just wanted to turn the computer off and get back into bed. Grrrrr.... I regret not writing it down because it was sooooo interesting! Then I wake up later and find it was all gone!!! It was especially important to me because it revolved around some happenings in my life right now, so I was trying to decipher its symbolism, and now the details are basically gone. I remembered the theme of it but not the details. pissed:

I don't have strange dreams, just because it takes a lot for me to consider ANYTHING strange, let alone a dream. Besides, I've gradually been learning to control my dreams (it IS actually possible), and as such, things aren't quite as strange when you're the one causing them

Okay, I have the strangest of all dreams!! I forget specifics because this was a while ago but I dreamt I was getting stabbed by someone. Then I woke up sweating, thanking god it was just a dream. My stomach hurt though and I saw some blood on my PJ top. I realized there was a big cut on my stomach. To this day I have no ideahow it got there. Sooo freaky!!!

Ooh, then one time I dreamt someone was out to get me. First they shot me in the foot, then my stomach, then finally my head. When I woke up, all the places I got shot in my dream were sore hahaha I have very violent dreams sometimes

Okay, I feel I can now post a "strange" dream here....

I had a strange dream last night. It was odd, and I couldn't decipher it but here goes:

I don't remember what I was doing or what, but suddenly I found this baby. Don't ask me how because I do not even recall. I just remember picking it up and holding it in my arms. It was a baby boy. He was sorta newborn-aged, so maybe about 3-4 months old or something. I was wondering where it came from and whose baby he belonged to. I remember he was VERY heavy (but wasn't overweight - you know how dreams are always skewed from reality), so it was a bit unbearable to hold him. My arms grew tired. I recall talking with someone about him. I was telling them about how I found this baby and maybe I could care for him if no one claimed him. I don't even know who I was talking to.

But anyway, I woke up, as it was the end of this dream. Weird.....

:rotflmao: that's hilarious.

often i have what i call external dreams, with actual spiritual activity. i can't think of a way to convince anyone that they're more than just images in my mind, but i HAVE spoken with my mom and had out of body experiences. NOTHING else explains extremely bizarre experiences i've had in real life pertaining to recent dreams. coincidence = bull ****.

i had a dream one time that had a narrator; i had another one that started over from the beginning when it was finished; stuff like that is cool.

i also have lucid dreams, in which i realize that i'm dreaming and nothing that's happening is real...omg, i could go on about all kinds of lucid dreams i've had and how AWESOME they are. so ****ing fun. one of my favorites though is one that i had a few years ago, which i think had a LOT of symbolic meanings. i dreamed that i was at school, and i realized that i was dreaming, and i figured i'd walk home and see what was going on there. as i was walking there was a large empty canal/tunnel like thing that my friend was walking home through. i decided to follow her, so we started walking through it when we found a soda machine. my friend was looking at it when i heard something meowing. i saw a hole in the wall, looked in it and found a wet kitten in it. i saw that it had a collar so i decided to take it with me and find the owner. so we continued on and before i knew it i'd lost track of my friend and the kitten had disappeared. i kept going until i found a door with a sign on it that said something like "HAHA, YOU CAN'T COME IN HERE!" so i went in. it was like a living room, with a table and furniture; there were a few people there who told me that they'd been in that room for three years because once you get in, there's no way out. i looked around for a way out and saw a window. i grabbed a chair to break it with, and just as i was charging at it my brother appeared in front of it, throwing leaves in the air and gleefully yelling "WEEEEEEE!" i tried to ignore him and charged at the window again but he stopped me again, just continuing to laugh and say "WEEEEE!" i got pissed and said "johnny this is MY dream, stop trying to mess it up!" and tried again but he still wouldn't let me. i was like "THIS IS A REALLY COOL DREAM, DON'T RUIN IT!" he tried to annoy me again but i ignored him and broke the window anyway. i climbed out and found myself in a tiny room with a hole in the wall. i went through the hole and found myself high above a crowd of thousands of people in NYC at night for a concert or something. there was no ledge or anything so i fell down into the crowd. my dad came up to me and i was telling him "this is so cool, i'm dreaming right now, at the beginning of the dream i was at school and i went through a canal with heather..." and i woke up. it was so vivid, i was so lucid, i really wonder what a lot of things in it meant. the soda machine, the wet kitten, the leaf-throwing, etc.

dreams are the roxors.
lol the last one happens tome a LOT (where i reliaze im dreaming)

LOL

I have not really weird dreams, but crazy dreams. And those are the ones I remember vividly, I can remember vivid crazy dreams all the way back to when I was only like 4.

A few years back I had a dream where I was taking to a neighbor that I never really talk to, and I was out in my backyard. He was telling me how it was weird that the sun was out at midnight, and I checked my watch and it WAS midnight, which freaked me out badly. I looked up and noticed the sun was straight in the center of the clear blue sky and when I looked down towards my neighbor again, I noticed a Car was suddenly sitting out in my backyard and those kindergartners from Recess were DESTROYING it with spears and weird junk. Apparently they also ATE my Brother and sister.

The neighbor dude ran off and I started FIGHTING them with a sword, and the sky suddenly turned to night again as I killed them all off. As if I was in a video game, when I walked over to the front yard to go inside my front door, some fat "Boss" guy came up behind me who happened to look like James Avery. He was wearing a King's outfit and had a huge cape on. We had a Karate fight for about a half an hour (or so it seemed) and eventually I killed him by just kicking him in the face. After he died the sun came out and a crowd of thousands of people appeared around my porch and cheered me on as if I just saved the earth. The sun then appeared in the middle of the sky and it was like noon again, even though it was about 2-3am.

No idea what THAT meant, but even though its been years I still remember every second of that dream like it was a movie I watched or something.

Creepy...freaky...cooky.... I swear, that is the best way to describe this dream I had early yesterday morning.... I can still vividly remember it in detail. That's amazing, considering I tend to dream brief dreams.

I remember being near this sliding door and looking out onto this patio that looks a bit like a pool area. I guess sorta like a friend's pool at her house. I could see from the inside of the apartment (it felt like my apartment in a way) there was this huge hole that looked dark on the edges of the rim. It was windy outside. I hear something about some news giving a warning to STAY away from the edges of that pool thing because it was a giant hole with molten lava many, many feet below the surface of the ground. It was a forewarning that with the ever-so strong winds, they can knock you down into that hole and that'd be it - you're dead!

I remember most people roaming around the edges were doing a good job, and I just kept my distance from the inside watching others trying to avoid the pit and the winds. Nearly everyone was successful!!

There was an unfortunate story of a man named Doctor Sun. Weird how it's an Ace of Base-related reference to the song from the "Flowers" album. We saw him slip and fall from those strong winds, and nearly everyone screamed at the top of their lungs!! HOW frightening, is what I kept thinking as I stood frozen!

A while later, there was mention the man died way before he hit the bottom of the lava. What was weird was the mention that the man's sideburns were the first thing to have disintegrated! Poof! Then I woke up!

Weird.... This dream creeped me out. Part of it (the falling off a high place and the winds) was referenced from my six-year-old second cousin, Shiah, who fell from the gusty winds onto the cement and broke an arm and an eye socket bone. But it's still a creepy dream.....

Sometimes when you dream of a baby it means something new is going on in your life. The fact that your arms got tired could mean that this new thing is either stressful or physically tiring.
I dont remember too many dreams except this one on the weekend; Someone close to me had been murdered and I was asking around trying to find out what happened. I went to an office--maybe where friend worked--and they said they would tell me all about it. I was taken into a room and while one person was telling me something, another slipped a needle in my arm and I passed out.

My sister Sissie died suddenly 15 years ago. About a month after she died, I had a dream that she called me on the phone. In the dream, I knew she was dead, but she was making small talk as if everything was okay.

I asked her what she was doing, calling me. She sounded confused and asked me what I meant. So I said to her, "Sissie, you died." She said, in the saddest voice, "I did?"

All these years later, that dream still gives me the shivers and makes me cry.

i have a friend Chantel who looks a lot like Tyra Banks. in my dream, Tyra Banks was going to be coming to the mall in my town to sign autographs and model clothes. and it was a day i was in school, and Chantel (Tyra's biggest fan) wasn't in school. after school i called her and said "Chantel, let's go to the mall and get Tyra's autograph" and she said "I have other things I have to do, go without me and meet me there" so i did. and i got there and Chantel was there and everyone who was waiting for autographs was screaming and shouting because Tyra wasn't there yet. and Chantel said "I have to go to the bathroom, I'll be right back" and then, Tyra Banks was there and she came out and made a big long speech, and I was thinking 'oh no, Chantel's missing this!' and she didn't get back. so I got an autograph and stayed in the mall for a while, and finally Tyra left and so did I. Later, I noticed Chantel had on the exact same bracelet as Tyra Banks so I said "That's the same bracelet Tyra Banks was wearing when she signed my autograph, how did you get one just like it?" and she couldn't come up with an answer so she finally said "Ok, you won't believe me, but I'm Tyra Banks." and she took this hand-held device out of her pocket and it looked like she was scanning herself, and as she did, she changed from 14 year old Chantel to a grown up. and then she said "I'm not really a teenager. I'm really the famous model Tyra Banks. this device changes me from myself to my old 14 year old self. I just wanted to be a normal person again, not a celebrity who can't go around without everyone staring at me. I'm really sorry". and then she explained that I couldn't tell anyone else I knew, and then i woke up and the dream was over.

I've had several interesting dreams. There was one dream I had once where I dreamed that I was Henry VIII and that I was having a sword fight with somebody. He stabbed me through the heart and I died. (And it hurt in the dream, too!)

Another time, I dreamed that I was Marty McFly ( from Back to the Future) and that I was being chased through a supermarket. The person chasing me was shooting at me, and he shot me twice in the shoulders.

I had a pretty strange dream last weekend. I boarded a bus in Chicago and all the passengers were people that I have know throughout my life. We were all on the same bus as part of a tour of all the homes I had ever lived in, all the schools I had ever attended and all the places that I had ever worked at. At the end of the dream I discovered that I had died on my 30th birthday (this August 5th) and the tour was a review of my life. I woke up pretty freaked out.

On dream deciphering, what we dream about is not what usually will happen. It's more about symbolism. Quite interesting topic, actually.

Ohhh I had an interesting dream last night. They never sound as cool when I type them out, though, but whatever.

So the earliest of it I remember I'm at some dance. It's in like a brightly lit auditorium though, and it's a small room. I see the kid I used to like and he's bawling about of his friends because they hate him now or something. But it doesn't look like him. He looks ********. Like as in actually mentally ********. So I'm trying to comfort him and tell him it's gonna be okay, and he just walks away from me back to his friend for THEIR comfort. I walk out of the dance with a classmate, someone who I'm not really friends with but I've talked to her before and have gone to school with her since elementary. She has to go to the bathroom so I go to, but when we go into the door it's not a bathroom. It's my elementary school...though it looks nothing like it. We enter a classroom and I'm going on about how this was my first classroom ever, other than preschool. For some reason we have to wash out hands. So I go to wash my hands and I see little kids outside. They start to come in with a teacher and I smile at the teacher. Suddenly it's outside though, and I see the douche that I'm quite certain likes the kid I used to like. Apparently she's helping out with the kids, but I know she's doing it only so she can see him and I think "She finds every chance she can to interfere and be somewhere near him" and how she always ruins it. Then my cousin and her friend are there, and we're back inside. The other girl is gone now and I'm waiting for a ride home with my cousin and her friend. My sister was there, but she disappeared because she goes a different way. We're waiting there for awhile and we decide we've been waiting too long and decide to go the other way. We have to dive out of some window to get to my mom's car with my sister and her friends, who are dressed up like gypsies or something. The end. :)

Yeahhhh, I have those too. I'll seriously be sitting there thinking...'wonder when I'm gonna wake up"

I've also had a dream when I was younger where...in actual, ya know, real life lol I was sleeping over a friends house. So in my dream I wake up at home and realize...hey, I slept over a friend's tonight...so I wake up for real at my friend's right after.

Apparently, it's easier to astral project when you're lucid dreaming.

Astral projection is when a person separates their astral body from their physical body. They leave their body and enter the astral realm, and they can do anything they like, go anywhere they like, see anyone they like. Some people can even go to the moon, or you can meet fictional people from books, TV shows, and movies. I was practicing a few months ago, but I've kind of held off recently.

I had a dream about the exorcist once, it was weird, but it wasn't scary.

I also had a recurring dream about me being stuck in this elevator thingie and it was like suppose to take me to heaven or something? I don't know, it was weird. Dreams are weird sometimes, and whoever said you can't get hurt in dreams is full of crap, because, well you might wake up and the scar is gone, but you can CERTAINLY feel pain in a dream.

Ah! You might wanna try out some great online dream dictionaries:

http://www.dreamdoctor.com/dictionary/
http://www.dreammoods.com/dreamdictionary/

:D

Here's what I found on "dying" and "birthday" on Dream Moods:

* Die:
To dream that you die in your dream, symbolizes inner changes, transformation, self-discovery and positive development that is happening within you or in your life. Although such a dreams may bring about feelings of fear and anxiety, it is no cause for alarm and is often considered a positive symbol. Dreams of experiencing your own death usually means that big changes are ahead for you. You are moving on to new beginnings and leaving the past behind. These changes does not necessarily imply a negative turn of events. Metaphorically, dying can be seen as an end or a termination to your old ways and habits. So, dying does not always mean a physical death, but an ending of something.

On a negative note, to dream that you die may represent involvement in deeply painful relationships or unhealthy, destructive behaviors. You may feeling depressed or feel strangled by a situation or person in your waking life. Perhaps your mind is preoccupied with someone who is terminally ill or dying. Alternatively, you may be trying to get out of some obligation, responsibility or other situation.

* Birthday:
To dream about your birthday, denotes acceptance of yourself. You are celebrating who you are and coming to terms with who you are as a person.

Haha... This is fun looking through the dictionaries that I feel like going through the entire thread and deciphering everyone's dreams!

I had this one late last week:

One weekday afternnon around 4, I was standing in the kitchen of my old house in one of Toledo's suburbs, and my mom and my brother-in-law appeared. A few minutes later a man who lived next door to me years ago in a Cleveland suburb showed up, and he was in a bad mood.

Mr. "Jenkins"* yelled at me, and then he went into the house's crawlspace to fix something. I saw him down there through the access door, which is in the closet of the house's small bedroom, [I]while I was still in the kitchen.[I]

A couple of minutes later a man nmaed Frank showed up. Back in the 50s, my mom dated Frank before she met my dad. He's a good guy but he sometimes puts his foot in his mouth.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
P.S.: My mom is dead, and so is Mr. "Jenkins" (not his real name). This man was extremely evil and nasty.

This isnt a recent dreams but I have two at least. First one was where people kept on blowing people heads off I had that nightmare a couple of times at least. And 2nd where this girl Molly is being abused at our school and I come in and rescue her and we end up falling in love. Bad thing about this Molly is I never knew a Molly in high school or she didn't exist. I told my friend about it once and he said that means She will be my girlfriend later in the future something like that well hasn't happened yet still no Molly lol.

Dude, that sounds like a ****load of ****ing fun!!!!1

Apparently, it's easier to astral project when you're lucid dreaming.

Astral projection is when a person separates their astral body from their physical body. They leave their body and enter the astral realm, and they can do anything they like, go anywhere they like, see anyone they like. Some people can even go to the moon, or you can meet fictional people from books, TV shows, and movies. I was practicing a few months ago, but I've kind of held off recently.

That's very true. In June 1998, I had a dream in which I visited my former house in Maumee, Ohio, and it took place during the late night when I was sleeping! Back in 2003-04, I had two seperate dreams in which I visited a small city (pop. between 15,000 and 20,000) on one of the Great Lakes.

I was on a boat that went out to the lake, and it went up a small, wide canal-like channel that veered to the northwest. A street ran along the channel's east side, and there was a neighborhood there. Early this year, I read an article about the Charlevoix, Michigan area in my local paper and a couple of months ago I went online to research Charlevoix. Guess what? without ever visiting that city or looking at pictures, my dreams were on the mark!

I just had a dream that Jake Gyllanhall kissed me for showing him where to get plates and glasses. And then I was worried my boyfriend, who was in that building at the time too, would find out. And then I was like, Kristel (Number 9 Dream, sorry if I butchered your name!) will be so pissed!
