....in that "portfolio", 'KennedyDean', but I'm pretty sure the early picture of "Young Van Dyke" you featured in your 1/15 post was Dick's 1955CBS "publicity photo" {i.e. "Genial Dick Van Dyke, who has recently arrived in New York, will become the new host of CBS Television's "MORNING SHOW" [Monday-Friday, 7-8am(et)] beginning July 4th. Mr. Van Dyke is a very affable and distinct personality who started out in Danville, Illinois with his own radio disc jockey show, and moved up the East Coast in the time it takes to get a shoe shine...if you can wait five or six years. (Ha-Ha!) And that's the kind of warm, funny comedy you'll see weekdays, along with news and weather information and sparkling guests on "THE MORNING SHOW", featuring loveable, warm Dick Van Dyke...whoever the hell he is."}
