hey let me tell you why i hated good times so much, first of all, since it was a show dealing with poor people living in the project, where was the hustlin or getting by, i did not see that in the show, to me it did not really deal with the issues relating to ghetto life, i no that was back in the 70's but i am sure you have seen pictures or movies in the 70's where you seen a hustler trying to make it out of the ghetto, good times no relations, and watching all of the episodes, the evans family just did the same thing, not trying to get out of the enviroment that they were in. from 1974 to whatver year the show ended, there was really no happy ending, would good times do well today, no i do not think so, if they woulds have told the story of it really is in the project, then i might would have liked the show, but that is hollywood for you, they do not believe in telling the truth

i dont get it.....they were trying to get better jobs throughout the show....its not like they had a choice to leave but decided to stay because they were used to the ghetto
