Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th!!!

The reason Joyce's says that is b/c she was only going to be there Sunday. She and Richard (Larry) had been in the works of doing a reading together in North Carolina! But I guess that didn't go threw:( So now she will be there both days!!!

WOW!!! That is great!!! I hope you do get to go!!! I've always heard they are so sweet!!! I got to watch Joyce perform back in October and I am so thankful I didn't miss that!!! If you get to go please take pix!!!:)

I live in northeast Texas!!! Austin is where I want to go to school!!! :) Luck you!!! It's a big city you will like it and meet lots of new people!!!:) I love it here!!:) TX rocks!!!:D Even Jack wanted to be a TEXAN!!!

Well, I talked to my husband and he has to work next weekend. So, that leaves me with 2 choices.

1) Don't go! Not an option for me! I really want to go.
2) Go and take my very talkative 8 year old with me. I like this option. Although I would have to duct tape his mouth shut. Let's put it this way, he will without a doubt do something to embarass me. He is not bashful and has no problem telling it like it is. It will be very interesting to say the least.

Decisions, decisions!! I am very excited. Now, if I can just convince my husband that I can make the drive up there and not get lost!! LOL!!

LOL!!! I think go w/2!~!! There is going to be diff. things like animation characters and comic stuff so maybe he will be entertain by that!!:)! I know what you mean though...I always have to take care of my little sister and sometimes when we go shopping she hates it and starts calling me mom....so embarassing !!!

Don't worry can't can't ge more loss then me when I went to PA to see Joyce!!! OMG!!! I almost killed us (my friend went with me)!!! LOL!!! I just used a map I printed off Expedia and my dad bought us a USA map!!! ....don't use Mapquest I can't stand that its not good!!! Expedia is the best!

I definitely think you should bring your son and trek over there :D It'll be so much fun!

Go with #2 :D i'm sure u could find something to entertain him, if not i'm sure food would always work :D

I'd be happy to meet you there, but since I'm a guy, your husband may not approve. I live in Sanford, which is about 30 minutes away from the Fairgrounds. Other than that, I can't give you any advise as to going. I know I'm going, unless something drastic stops me from doing so.

To everyone else, I'll take as many pictures as Joyce/they will allow me to. I suppose it will be a matter of how much time any one person will get with her, which will depend upon how many people line up to see her. Can't predict either one. With luck, there won't be too many people at the time I go, and I'll get to chat with her for a few minutes. Regardless, I hope I don't get nervous in the presence of the lovely Joyce!

As long as they have cheese sticks, french fries, cotton candy or chicken nuggetts he will be fine! LOL!! I will just have to keep his mouth stuffed with food... LOL!! Keeping my fingers crossed that I can convince hubby that I can find my way..LOL!!

I had orginally stated that I was going the the FX 2006, and would provide pictures of my visit. As it was, I didn't go. I apologize to anyone who was looking forward to any news or pictures that I might provide. In my defense, there was a reason. This past weekend was also the weekend of the 24 hour race at Daytona. Since I live but 35 miles from there, this is also a matter of interest for me. A friend offered me a chance to go with him to see the race, so I had to make a choice. Spend 2 minutes with Joyce, or 2 days at Daytona watching the race (and the partying that goes along with it). I regret missing the opportunity to meet Joyce, but I had to make a choice. The opportunity to see the race at Daytona won out. Again, sorry to anyone who hoped I'd give a report and pictures from the FX 2006. All I can hope at this point is that she'll come back next year...
