I apologize if this is one of those cases that has been discussed to death on this board, I just couldn't find anything on it within the first two pages. Anyhow, I wanted to know if this case has been resolved and if they have found Wendy and her sister-in-law. Personally, the ex-hubby and in laws looked VERY suspicious!! How could somebody just dissapear like that...no trace, nothing. It's so strange. I have always been fascinated by this case. Anybody have any info?

I know this is going to sound stupid, but I was at Wal-Mart the other night, and it just kinda gave me chills cause I thought back to that case. Unsolved Mysteries has that effect on me!

LOL. It has that effect on me, too. :) But I'm the idiot that can usually be seen watching it at 3 o'clock in the morning, getting freaked out over pictures and composites and such. (I think I already mentioned watching the Terri Hoffman segment at a late hour and being unable to sleep as a direct result of it...)

Unfortunately there has not been any real updates on this case, There is a rumor on this board that there has been the discovery of some bones in Okalahoma that are thought to be Wendy and her companions.. Yes this is one of my favorite cases. I would love to see it solved.

Oh that's awful!!! I was hoping there would be some real leads.. Such an intriguing case though, as Robert Stack would say.

And LooksLikeRicci, I am known to watch Unsolved Mysteries every night before bed in the dark too! I don't get a chance to watch it when it airs in the morning/afternoon, so I DVR it and watch it at night! It scares the crap out of me, but I love it!!! Boy are some of those sketches and pictures scary!!! Like the one of the Sohos' house guest with the glasses!!! Christopher Chichester...He had SUCH a creepy expression on his face, and they KEPT showing the picture and zooming into it over and over again

Sometimes I watch it laying in bed right before I go to sleep. I remember one night watching the Wendy Camp story and ended up dreaming about it. I think I've mentioned this before but one night I got as creeped out as I ever had watching UM as I was laying in bed late at night watching UM. It happened to be the Jeanne Tovrea segment which as you may or may not remember begins in the dead of night with someone entering her house and shooting her in bed while she slept! I couldn't help but think I was in the similar position she was in when she was killed.

OH MANN! I wouldn't have been able to sleep at all!!!!! I would've had to have all the lights on and everything!  I watch it in bed too. In bed before bed.

LOL. Crystaldawn, my mother would say that you totally asked for what happened to you. Being in similar shoes, however, I'm a touch more sympathetic... :)

I've never understood why this case hasn't been investigated further. Wendy and her companions have now been gone for almost 14 years. It's time for some answers.

Chad, his mother, and grandmother are all in it together.

Contradicting this are the words of Ida Pruitt:

"Beverly and I did not have nothing to do with their disappearances, and I know this."

They all sounded fishy to me! I think all three of them had something to do with it, without a doubt! Calling them for a visit out of nowhere...?

I saw that again last week, and you'll never convince me they didn't have something to do with it. I believe the truth will be found and this case will be solved.

I hope so. It's bad enough that Chad's family hasn't already been punished in the last 14 years. They all rubbed me the wrong way in the segment.

Yeah, there is nothing worse than people who get away with murder and then are all cocky about it...

And boy does that family qualify for being cocky down right arrogant. I mean they were really heartless even if what they say is true and (I used that term loosely) that they didn't have any to do with there disappearance. Then you would have expect them to show more sympathy than they did on the show. After all this is the mother of your child not to mention she has an condition that requires medical attention (MS) wouldn't you be concern for her safety? Especially if you are being accused of having something to do with there disappearance then you would want to see them found if nothing more then to clear your own name. This family give new meaning to disgusting..! I will celebrate the day the evidence proves all along they were responsible!

That's a good point. I mean, even if a person I despised were suddenly to vanish, I'd be afraid there was a maniac on the loose that needed to be put away.

Unfortunately, no solving of the mystery about Charles Southern, but news on Terri. She is still out there! She changed her name to Terri Lilya Keanely and is selling a book on amazon.com on "improving your moneyforce." You might recall that she profited greatly, financially, from the deaths of those closest to her -- two husbands and numerous followers. At least ten. Suicides and accidents, naming her as the beneficiary. So who would buy a book from her on financial planning or attracting money into your life? Too creepy for words. She's a convicted felon who's done time in a federal prison for bankruptcy fraud. Ad advisor on handling your money? I don't think so!

The fellow she wrote it with claims to be a top financial planner -- why would he associate himself with someone like her? Is he under her spell also?

There's more -- she has a website claiming herself to be a "visionary cloud artist" as well as being a counselor and expert in just about everything. Ick! It's creepy to look at. Some of her followers also have changed their names and have gone right on teaching her materials, also renamed.

Good work webwanderer! Dont know how you tracked her down, but great job.

As for Teri and other so called enlightened spiritual leaders like her they are usually nothing more than creative con artists. For example, I love how they invent words, like "moneyforce", to dupe impressionable people into thinking they have powerful knowledge only accessible to them. Please!

And let me take a guess at what she means by "attracting money"....hmmm... how about... with proper spiritual alignment and positive life forces one can magically fill their bank accounts with cash. (I just made that up and Im not sure if thats the crap she is selling but its usually something along those lines). And in order to get the proper spiritual alignment and positive life forces working for you, you have to buy her book, attend her "training workshops", give her all your assets, commit suicide, blah blah blah.

I just hope someone stops her before she destroys more lives. Is anyone in law enforcement reading this?

Christopher
