According to Amazon.uk.com, The Wonder Years will officially be released onto DVD on March 13, 2006. Play.com lists the date as March 13, 2007. So which is it? 2006 or 2007? Also, it looks right now as if it will only be available through British outlets, but hopefully the U.S. won't be far behind.

It would be nice to see The Wonder Years get released on DVD in the USA sometime in 2006. I can't believe its taking so long for The Wonder Years to get released on DVD.

To be honest, I don't care if it takes 5 more years... as long as they keep it with original music. Take the extra time and do this thing right!

Of note:

Release dates for DVDs are usually, if not all the time, on Tuesdays, at least here in the U. S. of A. March 13 will fall on a Tuesday in 2007, while this year's March 13 will be on a Monday. My guess is 2007.

If they release it by seasons, hopefully Season 1 will be more than the six episodes aired at the end of the 1987-88 television season.

Yeah, Monday is usually the day release's are made. I don't understand why in the US its Tuesday, maybe there is a reason, it just seems the start of the week would be best.

Play.com has recently changed the release date to 3/13/2006.
If this release happens, I guess it will be time to buy a region free player.

UK dvd's are expensive, and it is 2 seasons I guess. But it isn't happening anyway, Play.com lists the date as 26th December and Woolworths list the date as 1st January 2020.

It has been way too long to wait for these dvds, I am salivating here! lol.. why would england get it first...

Well it does not seem to be happening but the reason it would happen first in the UK is music licensing is easier.
