In you haven't already heard about it, there will be a new book about James "Whitey" Bulger. Entitled The Brothers Bulger, the book will be out in stores next month. It discusses Whitey and his brother, William Bulger.
Whitey Bulger is wanted for racketeering and murder. He has been on the run since 1995, and is currently on the FBI's Top Ten Most Wanted list. His brother William was president of the University of Massachusetts until he resigned in 2003.
The Brothers Bulger is written by Boston radio talk show host Howie Carr. If I remember correctly, Carr was among those interviewed in the UM segment about Whitey Bulger, which first aired in November 1996. Since I live near Boston, I sometimes listen to Howie Carr's radio show (although not as often as I listen to Michael Savage). His profile at wrko.com includes a section called "Whitey Watch."
