I've never noticed it but that Maytag guy is played by Gordon Jump! I never, ever would have even guessed that that was him.

Yeah...when I first saw WKRP, I thought to myself "boy does that guy [Mr. Carlson] look familiar!" I just didn't put two and two together for a while! Hmm...the Maytag Man managing a radio station...now that's pretty funny.

We're now on our 3rd Maytag guy.

I guess it just goes to prove that we all move along in the evolution of things. Including commercials.

Let's not forget.....oh BOY am I dating myself here......Jesse White. The original Maytag Repair Guy.

He preceeded Gordon Jump for a few years.
