Does anybody know the name of the song and group used during the ending credits? I mean the rock n roll one that sounds like they say "bartender" in it. Sounds somewhat like REO Speedwagon.

The song at the end of the show isn't suppose to be understood. That was the plan. It's a non-sensical song and from what I've read, the artists are a mystery.

I recently found out, and added to my WKRP FAQ, the name of the guy who sings the closing song: Jimmy Ellis. Don't know anything else about him; probably just another studio musician who happened to be there for the session (the music was recorded in Atlanta).
