I read somewhere that Loni had an affair with Gary Sandy during the shows run. Any truth to that? I kinda hope not cuz I always thought Bailey was the hot one and held a hope of Andy and Bailey as a couple.

It's 100% true. Anderson and Sandy have admitted it.

The people who worked on the show knew about it too. Here's a quote from an interview with one of the writers:


Yes, we were all aware of it. While they didn't flaunt their
relationship on the set, they were often seen leaving the lot very late at
night. While we were upstairs rewriting that week's script, we could see
their cars driving out of the front gate at around one in the morning. The
only time that it had any effect on the work was if we had a handsome
guest star in any given week and Loni showed any interest in him. You
could see the tension build between she and Gary. But Gary was always
a gentleman about it and never "kissed and told."

I saw Gary and Loni on ET a couple of weeks ago about their dating on the set. Loni said that a lot of women liked Gary and Gary said about he and Loni "We had a great time" w/his signature smile on his face.
