I have been having problems with IE and Firefox lately. My computer connects online but IE and Firefox would not load(Error) I have had to restore my computer twice in the past 2 weeks to get things working again. I got connected but my browsers wouldn't load. I have scanned for Spyware and viruses but my computer is clean. What causes the browsers not to load? HELP!:confused: I downloaded Netscape today just in case it happens again.

when you say they wo'nt load, do you mean they come up but you can't get on any webpages, or they application just will NOT open. What is the error message you get?

The browser opens but the page is blank(Cannot find Page)

what operating system (which version of windows) is it, what changes are you making between restore attempts and are you able to connect through email or your instant messenger programs? are the lights on your modem on? do you have more than one computer at home, and ifso is it just the one computer that is having a problem?

Windows XP
I have one computer. The light on my modem is on. Between restores I have changed nothing. My email doesn't come through and MSN messenger doesn't connect. I have Call Wave which is an internet answering machine and it works fine. Also my antivirus programs run and update so I know that I am connected to the internet. It is my opinion that some how the problem is Internet Explorer.

Everything is working fine right now but if this happens again I would like to know what is causing this and how to fix/prevent it. Thanks!:wave:
