If you like WKRP, I urge you to write a letter to the video department of the Fox corporation, which currently owns the rights to this and all other shows from MTM productions, asking them to release episodes of WKRP on video or DVD. Who knows; if enough people write, they might listen!

Here's the address to write to:

20th Century Fox Home Video
P.O. Box 900
Beverly Hills, CA 90213-0900

Fox Home Video has no email address, but that's just as well, because regular mail is usually taken more seriously by companies than e-mail (because of the
greater effort involved in sending regular mail). Please write, and encourage others to write, to the above address saying that you want more "WKRP" on
video and that if more episodes were available, you'd buy them. Only in this way can we hope to see classic episodes like "Turkeys Away" on video at last.

Final note: It's no use writing to Columbia House; I just learned from someone there that they are currently unable to license shows owned by Fox. So write to Fox!

And visit the WKRP website at:

No one really knows-- it might have been Fox, but it might just as easily have been the company that owned the MTM library *before* Fox acquired it in 1997.

They had M*A*S*H when a different arrangement was in effect--a few years ago, Fox did deals with Columbia House. Now they don't. (And when CH had the other two shows, they were not owned by Fox; now they are.)
