I noticed the second hour today (1PM EST) they previewed the case where the biker gets run over by some crazy trucker, late at night. But that segment didn't air during this episode.
My question is this, does Lifetime screw up the episodes frequently? Meaning to they preview one show only to have certain segment(s) missing often? Or is today just an anomaly?

I haven't noticed this before myself but that doesn't mean it doesn't happen. I watched today's episode and didn't notice, so it shows that I don't pay attention to the opening probably as much as I should. But knowing Lifetime, it wouldn't surprise me if this happened more than occasionally.

Wow, are you positive they didn't show that segment? I did see the beginning "tease" for that story as well but didn't watch the rest of the show. I have never known Lifetime to do that but I'm sure its possible. What I don't understand is I assume the pre-packaged Lifetime episodes are already put together so it seems very strange they would leave a tease in to a segment they had edited.
I see we got what 4 whole days of the old episodes before we're back to some that are a little later. Sometimes I think someone at Lifetime just closes their eyes and picks out an episode to air as most of their time there is no logic to how they show them.

I'm positive they featured it at the beginning tease and then the story didn't actually air during the duration of the show. Hmm..
Where do you go to view the upcoming schedule for UM?

Well www.lifetimetv.com and then click on "Unsolved Mysteries" on the list of shows and then "view upcoming episodes" but sometimes they don't list which segments. I was just on there a few days ago and there were no descriptions. It seems that when they're showing the old disclaimer ones its not listed but when they show the newer ones the descriptions are always listed.
There is also an interesting interview on there with RS where he talks about UM that you can watch.

I've noticed that this Motorcyclist segment as well as Eileen Mangold and the Sarah Beard cases have all previously aired on Lifetime but now for one reason or another have been essentially removed and replaced with other cases. The question is WHY?
