Beat me to it, Donna! Nice package art. I'm guessing that we're going back to the old "no extras" trend for this release, as was done with Mary Tyler Moore- Season 3. Nevertheless, thank goodness Fox is staying on track with releasing Bob!.

Well, I hope they do include some extra features, even if it's only a couple of episodes with commentary. Hopefully one of these seasons (only 4 left to go), we'll hear from the ones that we didn't hear on Season 2 - Suzanne, Bill and Peter, since we got Marcia and Jack then.

It's a fantastic spring for DVD's - let's see, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire on March 7, I Dream of Jeannie Season 1 on March 14th, and TBNS Season 3 on April 11th.

Actually Amazon.com mentions 3 commentaries + a featurette, so the extras continue, at least for 1 more season. :)

Wow, guess I'm going to have to go look further at the Amazon entry! I haven't decided if I'll buy it locally or go with Amazon yet. I'd really rather have it ON the day of release (Tuesday!!!) and Amazon won't ship it until the day of release, so I wouldn't have it till the end of my spring break.

I was out this morning early on another errand and found mine...at WalMart! I didn't get to open it until after noon, but have watched the first 6 episodes so far, the featurette, and two of the episodes that I watched had commentaries.

There are FIVE episodes with commentary - two by Bob with Peter, one by Bob with one of the writers, one by Bob with one of the guest players, and one by Bob himself. The featurette was Bob alone. In the interest of not giving away anything, I won't mention details, only that the featurette was a bit short. But we got special features and that's exciting anyway.

I watch episodes in order - just the way I do things.

I read the review, and have the following comments:

First, on the changes to the menu. My ONLY complaint with the menu has to do with the Commentary. If you click on "Play All", you get all 4 episodes back to back with the commentary OFF. You must play each episode individually in order to set the commentary ON during one episode. Considering there's 1 episode per side with a commentary, it's a little cumbersome.

I agree about the video quality, though I would not complain about it.

Extras that I would LOVE to see on future releases: Gag reels, if any - Marcia Wallace has mentioned them. Any footage of the cast warming up the audience before filming, such as Bill's piano or bass with Bob's drums, or whatever.
