The only live performance of The Brady Kids singing that has ever been recorded is included on Rino's Hr Pufnstuf / Live at the Hollywood Bowl (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/6304577192/bradyworld/103-7221989-4029435) and I was wondering if anyone has seen it? I know the kids sing a cover of "Proud Mary", but does anyone else have any other information about it, such as other songs they sing? Any help would be great!

I taped it off TV Land in 2004. I have never watched it though. I will watch it today and I will tell you what happens on it.

I've only seen a small clip of them live, which was on the A&E Biography. I could make out the song they were singing (Proud Mary) but I was wondering if they sang any others...

Either way, the concert looked pretty cool:) They had some really wacky costumes!

ok, I just watched it and it was real wacky. The Brady Kids were only in one scene but they sang a bunch of songs. The audience was screaming for the whole time they were on.

They start out sing Proud Mary and then they finish the song. Bobby wanted the audience to applaud for the orchestra. He starts playing the piano and then they kids start singing a medley of songs. They are not in there intiretry but they get around to singing parts of these. I am not sure if some of these are the titles but you will probabbly figure it out. They are preety well known songs.

"Whole Lot of Shakin Going On"
"Go Johnny Go"
"Jailhouse Rock"
"Rock Around the Clock"
and then one or two I did not pick up because it sounded like it was part of a song but it might have been another. They changed a few of the lyrics and made it one big song.

Thanks for the lowdown. "Wacky" seems to be the common word to describe it. I think I'll check it out though. Only for the Brady Kids though, I'm not a pufnstuf fan.

Thanks again!

Hey. I downloaded this segment as an avi file from a Brady fan off WinMX quite a few years ago. I quite enjoy watching the concert although the vocals aren't too great. They are dancing and moving all over the stage and can hardly breath. And the footage that is shown in this HR video isn't the full concert either. I'd love to see the full thing and see what else they sang. I took some screen captures actually of the concert, if someone is interested, I'll upload them. The video is too large to upload.

Hey Scott. Sure you can use them on your website.
I should have sent them to you when I first saw your site.
I'll upload them right now and get back here with the link and then feel free to use all or as many as you like. There are 85 in total.

I have made an mp3 of the performance, as the video is too large to upload. But the mp3 came out at 6MB. So a little large for me to upload. I'll see if I can put it up soon once I am on broadband. signed and just waiting for modem to arrive. So it'll be easier to upload something like that then. I don't know also, if your interested in Eve Plumbs "how will it be" (I'm still trying to find the fortune cookie song), also have every other brady song, including Lookinlands 2 and all of Chris Knight and Maureen.

Thanks so much for taking the time to upload those photos, they are amazing! I also own every Brady Kids song, but I don't own the Mike Lookinland ones you speak of, or the Eve Plumb. I'd love to hear it if possible!

Once again, thanks so much for the pictures!:)

That's okay.

When I get time, I'll rip the Mike and Eve songs off the CDs I burnt them too and convert to mp3 for you. Upload them somewhere. I'll get back to you on that. I also have "You've Got to be in love to love a love song". I don't think I have the list of all the songs on my computer at the moment. I may have posted the list in a previous topic of mine. I've been searching for Eve Plumbs "Fortune Cookie Song" but it seems no one has an mp3 of it anywhere. I'd buy the 45" but I live in Australia so it is a little more hassle, and postage cost. I only own 1 of the Brady Records. Meet the Brady Bunch.

glad you enjoyed it. I think it's great as well.
And Barry and Mike have good vocals. They are the main singers.
But it is also good to watch, so hopefully that convinced you to buy the video. I don't know if I can re-size and bring the file size down on the download I have. I think the total size was around 150MB. Once I'm on a faster connection I'll see what I can do.

Haven't forgotten about the mike and eve songs, I'll get to those soon for you.

Hi, Brad, some good news!

I might be able to get you that song you're missing from the Eve Plumb solo...I won a copy of her single 45 on Ebay, and as soon as I'm able to transfer the recording as an MP3, it'll be all yours:)

wow! yes that would be amazing! Thanks for that.
I've been searching for an mp3 version of "The Fortune Cookie Song" for years. I have seen the 45" on ebay before but like I said before, I live in Australia and also don't have a way of transferring a record to the computer. I wish I lived in the states as there is a lot of Brady items I'd love to buy. Brady items are rare down here. I have the "Meet the Brady Bunch" record I managed to find at a Record fair a few years ago.

Anyway, I look forward to the mp3. Don't get your hopes up on Eve's songs, as "How will it Be" is horrible, lol. I just hope that the "Fortune Cookie Song" is a little better. I'm on a faster connection now, so I'll rip Mike's songs for you and upload soon. I have Eve's "How will it Be" here as mp3 now. I can upload or not. Probably best not to so as not to spoil your receiving of the 45".

Thanks again!

OK for anyone who wants to download here is Eve's solo single of "The Fortune Cookie Song" (http://www.anywhereenterprises.com/1/1/a?a=dF&p=y7PApzdQXqqzOAApQZOAApQZApz) It is taken right from the original record so the sound quality isn't the best, but I did manage to touch it up a bit.

Enjoy!

Excellent! Thankyou so much Scott! Finally very pleased to have this song.
And I quite like this one. I wasn't expecting much from it, after hearing her other song "How Will It Be". What did you think of that one? It's horrible. But this Fortune Cookie Song is much better. It was the song on side A so I thought it had to be better than the other.

Thanks again! :D

Glad we were able to help... and happy the downloads are still up and working. I uploaded these a while back. The songs that you listed I don't have. I don't think Scott has them yet either. They are rare, and I hadn't ever heard of these song titles until I saw them listed on Scotts site. I think there was another song but can't remember. I'd be interested in these as well if anyone manages to find these at some point. I know I saw Maureen's 45" of Loves in the roses and Harmonize on ebay last year. I know I alerted Scott to this because he is able to record records to mp3, but I don't think he was able to bid.

Also has anyone made an mp3 of 'wherever we go' off the dvds?
Still waiting on the dvd release in Australia. I've only imported the first season.

Howdy folks! I'm new here. I was trying to dowload the above songs but the links took me right back to this page. What's up with that?

I was also wondering, did the Brady Kids record the entire version of American Pie or just part of it? Their rendition was abysmal and yet has a certain charm when you consider a lot of kids during the 70's were singing the tune, myself included.

Right Click on them and hit save target as and save the files. For some reason audio and video links don't directly work here. Oh and welcome to the boards.

According to one of the booklets included with my CD of the Brady Kids, the group did record the whole song, with Greg singing lead on some of the verses. This version has never been released and is somewhere locked away in the Paramount vaults.

It is probably better that way ;)
