Last night I was watching "Harrison B. Harding" on DVD and I always liked this episode. I could swear that I remember Rob saying a line like, "But his voice sounds so familiar..." when saying that he doesn't recognize the guy. This would make sense in that he could never see the guy because of the spotlight but he always said hello to him.

Do any of you recall that line in the episode. I would think that the uncut DVD's would have the line.

BWLuv,
That line sounds familiar. I think I do remember it. Are you saying it's not on the DVD?

I agree Steve. That line does sound familiar. I'm not sure why.

Yes, I am sure I heard it previously in this episode because I thought how well done it was to give that clue, but it is not on the DVD.

I'm pretty sure he says it in the office after the guy leaves.

I just watched this episode just because of this thread, and I didn't see that line or one similiar to it. I was hoping to, though.

I don't recall that line at all in the "Harrison" episode (and I've seen it a multitude of times; one of my personal faves).

Speaking of the "Harrison B. Harding" episode -- Have any of you DvDS faithful ever asked yourself the following commonsense question re. that episode:

Why is it that LAURA doesn't remember Harrison either?

It was revealed that Harrison had definitely met Laura @ Camp Crowder (via the lines: "You know Laura?" -- "Indeed I do, you don't forget a girl like Laura now do you?").

Therefore, the whole "I Don't Know This Guy" premise is now DOUBLY improbable when we factor in Laura's also not remembering anything about Mr. Harding.

Oh, well......just Carl Reiner food (or 'writing') for thought. :)

Well, let's see, David;
Laura was the prettiest USO performer on the base, and "Bivouac Baby". Harrison was just one of the thousands of soldiers she entertained, albeit he was a guy who worked a spotlight. Chances are more likely he would remember Laura, than the other way around, don't you think? I mean, would you have forgotten her? :loveya:

Very good point, Steve. I shall readily admit, that explanation you provided above is entirely plausible. I hadn't been thinking of Laura's on-stage USO work and that having been how Harrison "knows" Laura.

Good job. (And no...like Harrison B., I couldn't have forgotten those lovely gams either.) :)
