I have noticed through various threads that a lot of you mention that you didn't like seasons 06 - 08 too well. Why is that? I thought that there were a lot of funny scenes throughout those seasons.

View Full Version : Seasons 06 - 08. TJAMES03 01-06-2006, 09:59 AM I have noticed through various threads that a lot of you mention that you didn't like seasons 06 - 08 too well. Why is that? I thought that there were a lot of funny scenes throughout those seasons. USTVFanFromUK 01-07-2006, 12:52 AM I think seasons 5 and 6 were the best seasons of the show as well as the show's creative peak. It was a different show starting with seasons 5. The prior 4 seasons were a lot more mild humoured and family friendly, but seasons 5 onwards was a lot more darker and overly sarcastic - which I LOVE. FactsofLifeRulz 01-07-2006, 04:45 AM I think the last 2 seasons were the worst, but I still watch them.:D I love every other season, but I think seasons 3-6 were the absolute best ones. Chad Michael Murray 01-07-2006, 06:03 AM Whatever episode it is when they're on the train and Roseanne fights off that gang of robbers...is by far the worst episode ever. TvFantatic1980 01-07-2006, 05:21 PM Any of those silly episodes(the train robbery, the spa, the eppy with the girls from Absolutely Fabulous, the Wellman buyout, etc, etc) I hated and usually skip when they come on. And although it drastically changed the show I kinda liked the lottery episode. Now just those silly episodes should have been a part of Roseanne's "book" not the entire series as we found out at the end of the finale:rolleyes: Chad Michael Murray 01-07-2006, 05:40 PM I definitely agree with you. I didn't mind them winning the lottery at all. The reason I personally hate the post-lottery seasons so much is because of so many of the strange episodes and situations that wound up happening. If it had actually stayed a normal and realistic show, I wouldn't have minded at all. (Not to say though that there weren't still some good episodes in there) |
