Hey even though john amos character was killed off of the show, i believe if he wanted to he could have come back as another charactor, i have seen that done on soaps where a charactor dies and he/she comes back as somebody else

Um, he was killed off because the PRODUCER DIDN'T WANT JOHN AMOS AROUND ANYMORE...at all.

and John Amos did not want any part of it anymore.

That Sucks. I will only watch the episodes he's in. I thought he made the show.

If he would've come back as someone else, that would've watered down the show for sure. I don't care if he was a customer in a bar. LOL

No way should he have come back. That would've been absolutely silly.

number 1. he was fired
number 2.it would have cause some controversies
number 3 Norman lear or the other producer did not want him within any miles of the good times set

He was such a strong main character, that coming back as someone else would have been sooo wrong :eek: I'm so glad that didn't happen.
