I keep track of when I add something to my dvd collection, whether it's movies, music videos or tv-dvds. For tv-dvds alone, I added 175 dvds to my collection in 2005. That's almost 1 every 2 days for the year. Practically half were through free review copies, but still I see why I felt overwhelmed by the amount of dvds I have. I made a resolution to cut down this year. I haven't acquired anything since Christmas, which is a long time for me. We'll see how long it lasts.
