This is a really a small observation, but how times have changed...Today's TVLAND episode was the one where Rob thinks he's losing his hair. In the end tag scene, he and Laura stand on their heads against the bedroom wall. When MTM throws her body up against the wall, her pajama top slips down and you can see that she is wearing a fleshtoned body suit (you can see the zipper) AND also a bra. (You can see the white cross strap.) Today in such a scene, the woman would appear with barely a pajama top on, let alone all that other stuff. She'd probably stand on her head wearing just a towel or nightshirt and let the chips and the towel/shirt fall where they may!

You're probably right, BWLuv.
In fact, with MTM being as young and attractive as she was playing Laura Pertie, I think we could expect the CBS to want to play that up much more today than they did back then. And although I've never being one to object to seeing a attractive woman :eek: , I think we might have actually lost some of the witty dialogue that makes the show what it is, if the writers had to write in excuses for the costars and viewers to oogle Mary. I'm glad the show is the way it is :) .

There isn't a show today that can compare in writing to TDVDS. Frasier was the closest.
