I want to learn more about this. I have known out od body experiences before but, never had one except last week. I also wantto learn more about remote viewing, dreams and OUB.
Number 9 Dream 01-03-2006, 10:54 PM Wow, that's really interesting, alaskaboy. I've had a similar experience, although mine felt a bit different-- I was sleeping, but I still felt half conscious and felt like my body was floating towards the ceiling. I remember my body feeling really flushed and tingly, almost like spiders were crawling all over it. Then, suddenly, I spasmed and felt my being just crash to the bed. It was weird because it wasn't ME actually falling down to the bed (in a physical manner) but I just felt this big jolt and suddenly I was normal again.
Weird, huh?
cralappyhappy4 01-03-2006, 11:54 PM i never had that but i get sleep paralysis all the time when you wake up but you cant move any part of your body and you try to scream for help but nothing comes out of your mouth....its the worst when you feel like the pillow is smothering you. i looked it up before and its because your brain makes a chemical when you sleep so it paralyzes your body so that you don't act out your dreams and like fall off the bed and sometimes if you wake up too fast the chemical didn't wear off yet .... it sucks
~*Hannah_Lee*~ 01-04-2006, 03:39 AM I thought I had an experience like that one time. I was having this really strange dream and I woke up shaking all over, and it was like I was still asleep, but not really and I could feel everything shaking. Turns out, it wasn't any kind of strange dream experience, my room actually was shaking. A town not too far from my house experienced a minor earthquake (which in itself is kinda strange, since I live in Alabama).
dawsongirl 01-04-2006, 04:46 AM Nah. Mine just make no sense.
WhoStheBoss_Fan 01-04-2006, 11:39 AM Oh My GOD cralappyhappy4, thank you so much for explaining that because people think I am going crazy when I tell them that the same thing happens to me, not often, but it has and its SCARY! I looked up sleep paralysis and its definately something I have had and used to get more than I do now, does anyone else ever get it?
EmoJoe 01-04-2006, 04:53 PM Last night I had a dream my friend was having an ice skating competition in his backyard. I also had a dream that there was shooting outside my house so, beause of the shooting, 12 kids randomy walked into the house and started jumping on my mom and dad's bed.
I have weird dreams.

Sharop 01-04-2006, 06:42 PM I'm practicing astral projection, which is separating your astral body from your physical body and getting onto the astral plane, where you can go anywhere and do whatever you want - experienced people have been said to have visited Mars and alternate realities. I've been trying since October, and haven't managed it yet, but I know I'm progressing. Your experience was interesting to read about, alaskaboy.
A good Astral Projection site is http://www.jonasridgeway.com
