Not sure if I ever mentioned this here, but Loren's post gave me an idea. I am a huge series mystery collector and mainly the detectives. Anyhow, I have obtained nearly every movie that is not lost in about the best quality to be had either from digital cable, 16mm prints or old vhs.

My list includes not only the original B/W movies, but I have collected nearly all of the remakes up until present day and tv shows:

1. Charlie Chan - have all available movies from either digital source or 16mm film prints. Have the 1950s tv series all 39 eps and the 1970s film remake starring Ross Martin as well as the 1980s film featuring Ustinov and Roddy McDowell and the cartoon series from the 1970s
2. Sherlock Holmes - have just about everything ever done even relating to Holmes.
3. Boston Blackie - have all 14 original movies and a near set of the 1950s show.
4. Ellery Queen - have all original movies, some eps of the 1950s show, and complete set including Pilot Movie(Too Many Suspects) from the 1970S tv show. Also have the very rare Peter Lawton Don't Look Behind You 70s tv movie.
5. The Lone Wolf - have all original movies, and 38 of 39 eps of the 1950s tv series
6. The Falcon - have all original movies and a near set of the 1950s tv show
7. Philo Vance - have all original movies except 2 lost films (Night of Mystery and Scarab Murder Case)
8. Torchy Blane - complete
9. Mexican Spitfire -complete
10. Dr. Kildare/Gillespie - complete original movies
11. The Saint - complete including rare Saint's Girl Friday movie
12. Old Mother Riley series near complete
13. Nero Wolfe - complete movie and tv except for lost film (League of Frightened Men)
14. Perry Mason - all original movies, near set of all modern movies/tv
15. Nick Carter - complete all original movies plus 1970s remake
16. Hildegarde Withers - complete all original movies
17. I Love A Mystery - complete all original movies plus 1970s remake
18. Mr. Moto, Peter Lorre, complete all 8 original movies plus 1960s remake
19. Rare Book Dealers - 3 films complete original (take off of Thin Man series)
20. The Thin Man - all original films, some tv shows.
21. Bulldog Drummond complete
22. The Shadow complete
23. Clue Club complete original movies, modern cartoon
24. Crime Club near complete except for lost film
25. Michael Shayne complete old movies, some 1950s tv including the ultra rare Hugh Beaumont made films
26. Nancy Drew complete thru present day.
27. Sexton Blake
28. The Whistler complete original movies


I am sure I have forgotten a few, but just ask and this is a little off topic, but I get requests all the time.
