Yeah it was sad to see him that way. But give him some credit, he came back after his stroke and got the job done. Good for him. When he first talked I felt so bad, but after a while I realized it could have been much worse for him. I was glad he was there, and hope he is for another 10 or 20 years!

I was thrilled to see Dick Clark back in action but was shocked when he spoke. His speech was slurred, you couldn't understand certain words but he tried his hardest, I'll give him credit. It's really sad for those of us 'baby boomers' who grew up with Dick hearing and seeing Rock 'N Roll being born right in front of your eyes then becoming a pretty damn good game show host and a very successful businessman. Several people at another message board said the stroke aged him somewhat. He was at his desk the whole time and never got out from his seat.

Dick Clark is the greatest at what he does and has accomplished!! :) He can run for president, any day if he wanted to!

It made me sad, too. He used to be the guy everyone joked about as never aging. He was just perfectly fine just a couple of years ago, it's so weird to see him in the shape he's in now.
